The present invention provides 3-ethoxycarbonyloxy-1
-Bromo-1,2-diiodo-1-propene (hereinafter abbreviated as EBIP), tribromophenol (hereinafter abbreviated as TBP), and aluminum salt of N-nitroso-N-cyclohexylhydroxylamine (hereinafter abbreviated as TBP)
One or two selected from NCH (abbreviated as NCH) and bistributyltin oxide (hereinafter abbreviated as TBTO)
This invention relates to a wood preservative composition containing seeds. Various inorganic or organic compounds have been widely used as wood preservatives to prevent wood decay caused by various wood-decaying fungi. However, conventional drugs have been pointed out to have drawbacks such as high toxicity, adverse effects on the human body, and environmental pollution, and there is a strong demand for the emergence of more effective preservatives with lower toxicity. As a result of intensive research into better wood preservatives, the inventors found that EBIP, TBP,
The present invention was completed based on the discovery that the combination of NCH or TBTO exhibits a superior preservative effect. The mixing ratios when using these compositions can be varied over a wide range, in particular EBIP:
Excellent effects are achieved when TBP, NCH or TBTO=4:1 to 1:4. The composition of the present invention can be mixed with a carrier and other adjuvants if necessary to form formulations commonly used as wood preservatives, such as oil-soluble agents, emulsions, pastes, powders, aerosols, etc. It is prepared into paints and the like and used by known wood preservative treatment methods. Suitable carriers include inert solids such as clay, talc, bentonite, kaolin, silicic anhydride, calcium carbonate, and wood flour; liquid carriers such as kerosene, ligroin, xylene, methylnaphthalene, and dimethylformamide; nitrogen gas, dimethyl ether, and chlorofluorocarbon gas. , a gas carrier such as vinyl chloride monomer. Examples of adjuvants that can be used as appropriate to improve the properties of the preparation and enhance its preservative effect include anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants, methyl cellulose, vinyl acetate resin, and sodium alginate. Examples include polymer compounds.
Of course, it can be used in combination with other wood preservatives and wood insect repellents such as pyrethroid such as permethrin, organophosphorus such as phoxim, and organochlorine such as chlordane, thereby further improving the antiseptic and insect repellent effects. It is possible. In actual use, the content of the composition of the present invention can vary over a wide range depending on the form of the formulation, but is generally from 0.1 to 95% by weight, preferably from 0.2 to 60% by weight.
A range of weight percent is suitable. Next, the efficacy of the preservative composition of the present invention will be explained using test examples. Test example Each sterilized medium (malt extract 2%, glucose 1%, glucose 1%,
(0.5% peptone, 2% agar), the fungal systems of the wood-decaying fungi C. versicolor and C. spp.
The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) was determined from the growth status of the bacterial system after culturing at 25°C for 7 days. The results are shown in Table 1.

It goes without saying that the blending amount, type of auxiliary agent, etc. can be varied considerably. Formulation Example 1 Emulsion 10 parts of EBIP and 40 parts of TBP were dissolved in 10 parts of dimethylformamide and 30 parts of xylene, and 10 parts of polyoxyethylene nonyl phenyl ether were added and thoroughly mixed to obtain an emulsion. This emulsion can be diluted with an appropriate amount of water and applied, dipped or sprayed onto wood materials to be treated, as well as plywood, particle board, etc.
It can be applied to the treatment of adhesives such as hardboards. Formulation Example 2 Oil Agent 2 parts of EBIP and 1 part of TBTO were dissolved in 97 parts of xylene to obtain an oil agent. Formulation Example 3 Powder 30 parts of EBIP, 30 parts of NCH, and 40 parts of wood flour with a mesh size of 100 or more were mixed uniformly in a mixer and ground in a hammer mill to obtain a powder.
