Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent a glass of a spark plug from being cracked even if water is applied over the glass and get always stable igniting performance without any electrical misdischarging by a method wherein a fixing plate forming a stain preventing wall covering a suction side of a grill of the glass at the spark plug is mounted. CONSTITUTION:A glass 7b of a spark plug 7 inserted into a grill cover 2 is covered by a stain preventing wall 11a from a grill suction side to a lower side or up to both upper and lower sides.
