ツクへアクセスし、当該のトラツクの全域に対し
て信号の記録およびこの記録信号の再生を行つて
この再生信号の良否を判別する動作としての信号
評価試験を前記磁気記録媒体の各トラツク単位に
順次全トラツクにわたり実施して当該の磁気記録
媒体の良否を判別する磁気記録媒体試験装置にお
いて、 前記磁気記録媒体の回転周期の所定の複数分の
１の周期をもつて基準クロツクを発生する手段と
、 前記基準クロツクを計数して前記磁気記録媒体
の１回転後のタイミングを検出する手段と、 前記信号記録再生手段が被測定トラツクへ移動
した直後の前記基準クロツクを起点とする前記磁
気記録媒体の２回転の期間に当該の被測定トラツ
クについての前記の信号評価試験を行う手段とを
