Abstract

PURPOSE:To make a timbering provided with sufficient strength and to reduce the weight thereof by a method wherein a flange is fixed to one end of a main member made of a square steel pipe and a wale-side plate member is fixed to the other end of said main member, and the opposite ends of the wale-side plate member and a place near the flange of the main member are connected with diagonal members. CONSTITUTION:An angle brace block 1 is placed between the end face of a strut 8 and the side face of a wale 9, and a flange 4 is provided, being fixed to one end of a main member 2 made of a square steel pipe of the angle brace block 1. A wale-side plate 5 is fixed to the other end of the main member 2 and the opposite ends thereof are connected to the main member 2 with diagonal members 3 that are fixed to the main member on a place near the flange 4. The strut 8 and the angle brace block 1 are butted each other on the flanges and bonded together with bolts.
