That is, in FIG. 2, the wire portion 2 of the printing wire 1 is slidably supported by a guide pipe 3 and a wire bearing 4. As shown in FIG. This wire part 2
has a wire button 5 fixed to one end thereof,
A return spring 7 is resiliently loaded between the wire button 5 and the spring receiver 6. An armature 8 is arranged on the side of the wire button 5 and is attracted by an iron core 10 that is excited by an excitation coil 9. One end of this armature 8 extends to the rear end of the wire button 5, and the other end contacts the return spring 12 elastically loaded between the armature 8 and the spring receiver 11.
When the iron core 10 is not energized, one end of the armature 8 is energized in a direction away from the wire button 5. Therefore, when the excitation coil 9 is energized, the armature 8 is attracted to the iron core 10, hits the wire button 5 with an impact, and can push out the wire portion 2 to perform printing.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The requirements for printing wires for dot printers having the structure described above are high-speed and reliable printing operation, abrasion resistance, impact resistance, and durability to withstand long-term use. It has excellent fatigue resistance and is lightweight. However, the conventional printing wire as described above has a durability of only about 100 million dots, and when using brazing or adhesion as shown in Figure 3A, the bonding strength is weak and easily comes off, and the brazing material and Bonding strength varies depending on bonding conditions, etc., and impact resistance is poor. On the other hand, the conventional type shown in Figure 3B, in which the wire part and the head part are integrally molded, has a slightly better quality than the above-mentioned one, but the head part is almost the same as the wire part. The head portion, which has mechanical properties and has the same hardness as the wire portion, is brittle against impact and has poor durability. Moreover, in order to withstand shock, the weight of the head section inevitably increases, which hinders weight reduction.
