Claims (1)
16が回転作動可能に配設され、該カムシヤフト
16と一対の吸気弁VI1,VI2との間には、
両吸気弁VI1,VI2に個別に連動、連結され
る第1および第2吸気側ロツカアーム17,18
と、両吸気弁VI1,VI2に対して自由となる
ことを可能としながら第1および第2吸気側ロツ
カアーム17,18間に配置される第3吸気側ロ
ツカアーム19とが介設され、前記カムシヤフト
16および一対の排気弁VE1,VE2間には排
気側ロツカアーム20,20が介設され、各吸気
側ロツカアーム17〜19には、油圧作用に応じ
た各吸気側ロツカアーム17〜19の連結状態と
、油圧解放に応じた連結解除状態とを切換可能に
構成された油圧式連結切換機構45が設けられる
SOHC型内燃機関において、カムシヤフト16
の下方位置には、各吸気側ロツカアーム17〜1
9および排気側ロツカアーム20,20を揺動可
能に支承する単一のロツカシヤフト26が固定的
に配設され、該ロツカシヤフト26には、油圧源
55に制御弁57を介して接続されるとともに油
圧式連結切換機構45に連なる油圧供給路54と
、カムシヤフト16のジヤーナル部16aならび
に各ロツカアーム17〜19,20,20のうち
選択されたロツカアームとカムシヤフト16に設
けられたカムとの摺接部に潤滑油を導くべく前記
油圧源55に接続される潤滑油給油路63とが平
行に穿設されることを特徴とするSOHC型内燃
機関。 第3吸気側ロツカアーム19には、カムシヤ
フト16に設けられたカム22および第3吸気側
ロツカアーム19の摺接部に向けて潤滑油を供給
するための噴出ノズル73が油圧供給路54に連
通しながら設けられることを特徴とする請求項第
