る熱転写プリンタのサーマルヘツド駆動装置であ
つて、前記キヤリツジ上に設けた駆動用モータと
、前記駆動用モータの軸に取付けたモータギヤと
、前記モータギヤと噛合うギヤ部を有するリトラ
クシヨンカムと、前記リトラクシヨンカムのカム
面によつて駆動されて前記プラテンに対して垂直
方向に運動可能なリトラクシヨンアームと、前記
リトラクシヨンアームに設けられている前記サー
マルヘツドを前記プラテンに対して押圧する圧縮
ばねと、前記サーマルヘツドを保持するヘツドサ
ポートと、上記ヘツドサポートを前記プラテンと
反対方向に付勢する引張りコイルスプリングとを
備え、前記リトラクシヨンカムのカム面に、変位
量が一定となる面を複数箇所設け、それらの変位
量を異つた値としたことを特徴とするサーマルヘ
