[Conventional technology] Vegetables such as cabbage, radish, and corn, cherries,
Agricultural products such as fruits such as grapes, grains, and various garden plants are at risk of being damaged by pests including crows, birds such as bulbuls, and diamondback moths from the germination and growth period to the harvest period. To prevent this, nets may be set up around fields or pesticides may be sprayed.

These insect repellents volatilize and sublimate, emitting odors that are repellent to insect pests that stick to clothing, thereby providing an insect repellent effect. Naphthalene, baladichlorbenzene, etc. have strong sublimation properties and sublimate and dissipate in an open space in a short period of time, so they are usually used in closed spaces such as chests of drawers and are not used in agriculture that targets the outdoors. [Problem to be solved by the invention] In agriculture, it is virtually impossible to completely cover a vast field with the method of setting up bird nets for the purpose of preventing birds from entering. It can be said that it is extremely unreasonable from the point of view of expenses and labor involved. Moreover, bird nets are not necessarily a foolproof means and cannot reliably prevent birds or other small animals from entering.

Considering the possibility of reusing clothing insect repellents containing naphthalene, paradichlorobenzene, etc. as main ingredients, which are used in general households, for agricultural purposes, the odors evaporated from these household clothing insect repellents are likely to be caused by insects and insects. Birds dislike them, and although there is no risk of causing chemical damage, they are not practical for agricultural or horticultural purposes.The reason is that these insect repellents have strong sublimation properties.
This is because in an open space, it quickly evaporates, sublimates and disappears.

However, the present invention has been made by focusing on the above-mentioned conventional problems, and it is possible to maintain birds and birds for a relatively long period at low cost.
A bird and insect repellent for agriculture and horticulture that repels insects, effectively prevents damage to agricultural and horticultural crops by insects, and does not cause problems such as chemical damage caused by residual pesticides, as well as an easy-to-handle bird repellent using the same. The purpose is to provide insect repellent equipment.

The above-mentioned container for enclosing the bird and insect repellent may be formed by joining sheet materials having a large number of ventilation holes into a bag shape, and a hanging means may be attached to a part of the periphery.6 [Function] Bird and insect repellent material Baladichlorbenzene, the main ingredient, emits an odor that is repellent to birds, insects, and other insects when it evaporates and sublimates. Balajichlorbenzene is water insoluble;
Since it changes from a solid to a gas without sublimating, that is, passing through a liquid phase, it will not be eluted by rainwater or the like, and therefore will not cause any adverse effects such as chemical residue on field crops.

The petroleum-based resin mixed with the above-mentioned main component is in the form of water-insoluble small particles, and is recognized to have the property of suppressing the rapid sublimation of baladichlorbenzene. Therefore, paradichlorobenzene, which is the main component of the bird and insect repellent, continues to have a bird and insect repellent effect for a relatively long period of time even in small amounts.

Furthermore, by enclosing the bird and insect repellent in a container with many ventilation holes, it will not undergo chemical changes that would reduce its effectiveness due to exposure to direct sunlight or erosion from rainwater. On the other hand, while protecting the bird and insect repellent contained within for a long period of time, the bird and insect repellent sublimates at a moderate rate and releases the odor that birds and insects dislike through the ventilation hole of the container, creating a good volatilization state. In addition, it improves portability and makes handling easier. This container is formed by joining sheet materials with many ventilation holes into a bag shape, and by attaching a hanging means to a part of the periphery, it can be easily handled when installed near an outdoor field. can.

[Example] The present invention relates to a bird and insect repellent for agriculture and horticulture that is mainly composed of baladichlorbenzene, which emits an odor that horse owners dislike due to volatilization and sublimation, and is designed to withstand long-term use outdoors. If diatomaceous earth or pumice is appropriately mixed with the above-mentioned bird and insect repellent according to the present invention, the sublimation of the bird and insect repellent becomes more gradual. That is, the crystal particles of the bird and insect repellent come into contact with or are coated with diatomaceous earth, reducing the volatilization area and reducing the sublimation rate. Since diatomaceous earth and pumice are originally porous, even if they completely cover the entire crystal grains of the bird and insect repellent, or suppress the sublimation of the bird and insect repellent, this will not be hindered.

(Effects of the Invention) As explained above, the bird and insect repellent of the present invention contains at least 1 of petroleum resin, polybutadiene, and mercaptan, in addition to baladiclorbenzene, which has an odor that horse owners dislike.
By mixing the ingredients, it is possible to slow down the sublimation of paradichlorbenzene, which originally sublimates and evaporates rapidly, so it is possible to produce bird and insect repellent effects over a relatively long period of time in outdoor fields. . Therefore, it can be an effective means for preventing birds and insects in place of conventional bird nets which have insufficient bird and insect repellent ability and are troublesome to handle. In addition, the above ingredients that make up the bird and insect repellent are water-insoluble and completely dissipate by sublimation, so they do not cause chemical damage to crops, etc., and are extremely safe compared to conventional insect repellent methods that involve spraying pesticides. It is. Furthermore, by mixing pumice or diatomaceous earth, the bird and insect repellent effects can be sustained more slowly, so even when applied to vast farmlands, bird and insect control management can be carried out very easily and at low cost.

Furthermore, by sealing it in a container with many ventilation holes, it is easy to handle, and it is also protected from chemical changes that would reduce its effectiveness due to exposure to direct sunlight or erosion from rainwater. It can protect birds with insect repellent, etc.
It is possible to provide a bird and insect repellent device that is highly practical and highly effective.
