アリングの構成を示した断面構造図、第３図は本
考案の第３の実施例による磁気軸受スピンドルに
適用される非常用ベアリングの構成を示した断面
構造図、第４図は従来の磁気軸受スピンドルを示
した断面図、第５図は第４図に示した上部および
下部非常用ベアリングの構成を示した断面構造図
である。 図において、１はセラミツクス製外輪、２はセ
ラミツクス製内輪、３はセラミツクス製ボールで
ある。なお、各図中、同一符号は、同一または相
当部分を示す。

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 定常時には、電磁石を有する磁気軸受によつて
    回転軸を軸受し、前記回転軸をモータで回転させ
    、前記回転軸の位置を位置センサで検出して前記
    磁気軸受を制御し、非常時には、非常用軸受によ
    つて回転軸を軸支する磁気軸受スピンドル装置に
    おいて、 前記非常用軸受は、その内外輪およびボールの
    少なくともいずれか一方がセラミツクス材で構成
    されていることを特徴とする、磁気軸受スピンド
    ル装置。
