動可能に軸支されるアームからなるリクライニン
グ機構により傾動可能に支持されるシートバツク
を備えてなるシート装置において、前記シートバ
ツクのシートバツクフレームを上、下に二分割す
ることにより構成され且つ中折れ軸支部により相
対的に回動可能に軸支されている上部フレーム及
び下部フレームと、前記リクライニング機構によ
る傾動動作に伴つて作動され前記上部フレームを
下部フレームに対し相対的に回動動作させるリン
ク機構を備えてなり、このリンク機構は、上端部
が前記上部フレーム側に回動可能に連結支持され
ると共に下端部が前記下部フレームの下端側に軸
支させて設けたピニオンギヤの偏心した位置に軸
支されるリンクレバーと、前記リクライニング機
構による下部フレームのベース側に対しての傾動
動作に伴つて前記ピニオンギヤと選択的に噛み合
いリクライニング動作を伝達するように噛み合い
方向に進退動作可能な状態で前記シートクツシヨ
ン側の一部に設けられたギヤ部と、このギヤ部に
選択的に係合しこのギヤ部をピニオンギヤに対し
噛み合い、噛み合い解除動作させる操作手段とに
よつて構成されていることを特徴とするシート装
