【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 基板面上に間隔をおいて対向する電極を有
し、これら電極間に付着する雨滴による電極間の
抵抗値の変化により雨滴の有無を検出して雨滴信
号を出力する雨滴センサにおいて、 前記基板の前記電極が設けられている面と反対
の面に電気抵抗体からなるヒータを設け所定時間
通電して前記基板を加熱させるようにしたことを
特徴とする雨滴センサ。 (2) 前記ヒータの通電時間を前記雨滴センサの
作動開始時から一定時間とするタイマー回路と、
ヒータ通電後に電極間の抵抗値が所定値を一定時
間継続したときに雨滴信号を出力する出力検出手
段とを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の雨
滴センサ。 (3) 前記ヒータの通電時間を前記電極間の抵抗
値が変化して所定値になつた時から一定時間とす
るタイマー回路と、該電極間の抵抗値と前記ヒー
タの温度変化に基づくヒータ抵抗値との双方がヒ
ータ通電後所定時間後に所定値にあるときに雨滴
と判断して雨滴信号を出力する外部出力手段とを
備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の雨滴セン
サ。
