と、これ等前後左右の中空体19により囲繞し
た、騒音の残り分の通過を許容する直接伝播音出
口兼排気口21と、から成るので、フアンの羽切
音も減音でき、フアンの羽切音の波長に無関係に
減音効果を得ることができ、フアンの他に騒音源
をもつ機器に利用でき、外気を吸入する必要のあ
る構造のものに利用できるものであり、しかも、
中空管路17の管路長差、カバー部13の上辺縁
部19および設定台部20の位置および広さ、直
接伝播音出口兼排気口21の大小等の設定によつ
て、屈折伝播音と直接伝播音との位相のずれ量、
減音領域の広狭および位置などを決めることが可
能であつて、破壊的干渉現象により高い減音効果
を得ることができるものである。特に本発明にお
いて中空管路17は位相ずれを起すためのもの
で、上記従来の技術において述べた乱反射を起す
細径丸棒のような減音を妨げる増幅分を有してい
ないように構成できるものであつて、高い減音効
果を得るのに有効に機能するものである。また本
発明において外気取入口部材14は防音壁材製で
ありL状に曲がつており床に向つて開口している
吸気機能を果たすことおよび内部から外に出る騒
音を効果的に抑えることを、また排気口21は排
気機能を果たすことおよび上記した防音機能に寄
与することをそれぞれなすものであつて、吸排気
を必要とする空冷型室外機器に極めて好適なもの
