[Detailed Description of the Invention] [Industrial Application Field] The present invention relates to an articulated block to be laid on a river embankment for the purpose of protecting the embankment.

River levees are primarily intended for flood protection, and in Japan, where there are many rapid-flowing rivers, large numbers of river levees have been built since ancient times as the first step in flood control construction.

Typical conventional methods include using only earth and sand and pounding the slope surface with a clay rod to spread grass (soil planting) and building embankments by piling up natural stones (stone masonry), but in recent years Bank protection work is often carried out using concrete blocks. FIG. 6 shows an example of the most common river embankment 20, which has two stages on the river R side and three stages on the opposite side. Each step and slope are the front small step 21, the front nori 22, the top 23, the back nori 24, 24, and the back small step 2.

Bank protection work will be carried out at all of these locations that correspond to water embankments. As a countermeasure against levee failure due to saturation of water inside the levee due to flood overflow or water leakage, a sufficient width of the levee bed, crest, and sufficient height are required. In a river embankment using concrete blocks, the slope of the slope 22 is set to about 1:1.0 to 1:1.5. (Earth and sand embankments have even gentler slopes.) Furthermore, recently, the use of articulated blocks as concrete blocks has come into use.

This block body is constructed by connecting rectangular parallelepiped flat plates with projections on their surfaces with reinforcing bars, and is intended to increase resistance to water flow through the projections.

However, in conventional articulated blocks, the flat plate part is rectangular parallelepiped, so when laying the blocks,
Assuming that the ground of the embankment is undulating, the only way to adapt to such a situation is to downsize the block itself, which requires a large number of blocks, which makes both the parallel installation work and the reinforcing bar connection work complicated. This resulted in an increase in construction time and costs.

In addition, the block may be placed on an inclined surface (for example,
The slope of the protrusion of the block body is sometimes used as a foothold when laying the levee (e.g.), but the slope of the levee itself is not uniform depending on the scale of the embankment, the nature of the river, the nature of the soil, etc. One type of block body could only be used for embankments with one type of slope.

Therefore, there has been a long-awaited development of a block structure that can respond well to changes in the ground surface of the embankment due to scouring, etc., and has a wide allowable range of slope for the embankment.

In view of the above points, the inventor of the present invention has finally come up with the present invention after many years of intensive research. The main feature of this invention is that the length and breadth of the top surface are both longer than the length and breadth of the bottom surface. It has the shape of a pyramid-shaped projection on top of a plateau, the length and width of the upper surface being shorter than the length and width of the bottom surface, and the slope slope of the projection is approximately 1:1.0. There are at least two types, 1:1.5 and 1:1.5, and the side surface of the flat plate part has holes for loosely fitting connection reinforcing bars.

The river embankment on which the blocks of this invention will be installed is the main embankment, which is the main embankment built along both banks of the river.
In addition to the above, there are also "auxiliary embankments" built behind the main embankment, "separate embankments" built to lower the confluence of two rivers with different characteristics downstream when a tributary river joins the main river,
This includes ``shutdown levees'' to close off abandoned rivers, ``ring levees'' built on islands surrounded by rivers, etc.

The slope slope is expressed as height versus base (height is assumed to be 1) when the slope is considered as the hypotenuse of a right triangle. Therefore, in the case of "1:X", the gradient becomes gentler as X becomes larger. The protrusion has four inclined surfaces, approximately 1:1.0 and 1:1.
Having at least two types of about 1.5 means
This means that one of the four sides has a slope of about 1:1.0, and one of the remaining three sides has a slope of about 1:1.5, even if the other two sides have a slope other than this. Make it good. The flat plate part also has an inverted trapezoid shape, but this is to follow the undulations of the earth and sand surface of the embankment, so it may be close to a right angle compared to the slope of the protrusion. (In the scope of the prototype produced by the present inventor, it was suitable to have a block with a height of about 200 mm, with a difference in length of one side of the top surface and bottom surface of the flat plate part of about 20 mm.) The material for the articulated block of the present invention is usually concrete, but any other material can be used as long as it is inexpensive, has appropriate strength and weight, and has sufficient water resistance. Furthermore, even when concrete is used, the present invention does not impose any limitations on its type, composition, etc.

Furthermore, the overall shape of the articulated block of the present invention was determined from the viewpoint of weight, ease of installation work, etc., and the basic shape was approximately 0.5 m in the short side direction and 1.2 m in the long side direction. It is thought that it is preferable to use a type for adjustment purposes, but there is no limitation on this point either.

Figures 1 to 3 show one embodiment of the articulated block 1 according to the present invention, which is composed of a flat plate part 2, a protrusion 3, and reinforcing bar connecting holes 4, 4, and is attached to concrete. Therefore, it is integrally molded. As is clear from the figure, the side surface 5 of the flat plate part 2 is inversely tapered, and the slope gradients of the protrusion 3 are different from each other at 1:1.5 and 1:1.0 on the two longitudinal surfaces 6 and 7, respectively.

Next, Fig. 4 a, b, and c show the articulated blocks 1 and 1.
This is a schematic representation of the actual construction of the levee on the earth and sand surface of the embankment. The embankment earth and sand surface E may rise or subside. Figure a shows this during normal times, figure b shows when the embankment earth and sand surface E rises, and figure c shows when the embankment earth and sand surface E sinks. , 1 corresponds to the embankment earth and sand surface E.
In this way, each articulated block 1... only touches the upper part of the flat plate part 2 (that is, the blocks touch each other at points when viewed from the side), so they can adapt to changes in the ground. This means that the nature of the situation is large.

In addition, the reinforcing bar connection holes 4, 4 have an oval shape,

Next, Figures 5a and 5b show the state in which the articulated blocks 1... are installed on two types of embankment slopes with different slopes; each slope is 1:1.5 in the case of figure a, and 1:1.5 in the case of figure b. In this case, the ratio is 1:1.0. In order to correspond to these two types of embankment slopes, the surface 6 of the protrusion 3 is the upper surface on the slope shown in figure a, and the surface 7 of the protrusion 3 is the upper surface on the slope shown in figure b. The connected blocks 1... are laid out like this. Then, each of the surfaces 6 and 7 becomes a horizontal stair tread on a slope with a different slope.
