検出するアクセル開度検出センサと、シフトマツ
プを記憶するシフトマツプ記憶手段とを備え、車
速とアクセル開度とに応じた最適ギヤ段をシフト
マツプに基づいて判断し、その最適ギヤ段に変速
する車輌用多段自動変速機の変速制御装置におい
て、ブレーキペダルが踏込まれたことを検出する
ブレーキペダル踏込み検出センサと、シフト用操
作スイツチと、前記アクセル開度検出センサから
の出力によりアクセル開度がほぼ全閉状態になつ
たことを判断するアクセル全閉判断手段と、この
アクセル全閉判断手段がアクセル開度がほぼ全閉
状態になつたと判断したときにシフトダウンを禁
止するシフトダウン禁止手段と、前記ブレーキペ
ダル踏込み検出センサがブレーキペダルが踏込ま
れていることを検出しかつ前記シフト用操作スイ
ツチが操作されているときに前記シフトダウン禁
止手段によるシフトダウン禁止を解除するシフト
ダウン禁止解除手段とを設けたことを特徴とする
