As disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 50-5672 and Japanese Patent Publication No. 54-38673, a set of two warp yarns is formed by bending the ends to form a loop between each row of a Z group of warp yarns stretched in multiple rows and columns. A three-dimensional fabric is woven by repeating the process of driving the weft yarn y, inserting the selvage yarn through the loop to fix the weft yarn y, and then driving the vertical yarn x between each row of the warp yarn groups. The first thread inserting tool (rapier) for inserting the weft y or vertical thread x between the warp threads z in these three-dimensional looms is

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 50-5672, in order to smoothly and reliably insert the rapiers 31 and 32 into the warp thread z, In order to prevent the rapiers 31 and 32 from coming into contact, the 15th
As shown in the figure, a warp guide tube 33 through which the warp threads are inserted is provided at a position through which the rapiers 31 and 32 pass. The rapiers 31 and 32 reciprocate between the warp guide tube 33, but the warp guide tube 33 and the rapier 31,
32 is narrow, so in the case of a plate-shaped rapier 31, when the weft yarn y becomes slack, the rapier 31 and the warp guide tube 33
The weft yarn y is caught between the weft yarn y and the weft yarn y, causing problems such as the weft yarn y being cut or the warp yarn guide tube 33 being deformed due to friction. In particular, this inconvenience becomes more noticeable when the distance between the warp guide tubes 33 is narrowed in order to weave a high-density three-dimensional fabric. Also, tubular rapier 3
In case 2, there is no problem mentioned above, but the thread is passed through rapier 3.
There is an inconvenience that it is difficult to pass 2.

(Function) In the rapier of this invention, the rapier is inserted between the warp threads with the thread housed inside the rapier body.
Even if the thread becomes loose, it will not protrude from the rapier body. Further, since the thread pulled out from the tip of the rapier passes inside both side surfaces of the guide for preventing removal due to the action of the regulating portion, the thread is not caught between the guide and the inner wall of the rapier. Further, since one side of the rapier main body is open to the vicinity of the tip, threading the rapier becomes easy.

(Example 1) Hereinafter, the first example that embodies this invention will be described as the first example.
This will be explained according to Figures 5 to 5. The rapier body 1 has a cross section U that is open at the top by bending a metal plate.
It is formed into a letter shape, and the lower portions of both ends are cut out and open downward. Reinforcing members 2 and 3 are fixed to the inner sides of both ends, which are open at both the top and bottom. At the tip of the rapier body 1, a guide 4 for preventing the thread Y from coming off is rotatably supported by a support shaft 5. A thread guide 6 is fixed to the front side of the slip-out prevention guide 4 at an interval that allows passage of a threading tool or the like. A thread guide 7 is also rotatably supported near the base end of the rapier main body 1. Each of the guides 4, 6, and 7 is made of ceramic with excellent wear resistance.

At the upper part of the tip of the rapier main body 1, there is a regulating part 8 which restricts the passage area of the thread so that it is inside both sides of the guide 4 for preventing slipping out, and at the upper end of the guide 4 for preventing slipping off and the upper end of the thread guide 6. It is formed by bulging the nearby wall surface inward.

To insert the vertical yarn x or the weft yarn y between the warp yarns z, as shown in FIG.
This is done by letting out the thread from the tip of the rapier 1 as it reciprocates between the two. In this case, even if the yarn becomes slack, the yarn is always kept housed in the rapier body 1, so when the rapier 1 reciprocates between the warp guide tube 11, the rapier 1 and the warp guide tube 11 There is no possibility that problems such as threads getting caught between the threads, breakage, or deformation of the warp guide tube 11 occur. In addition, as the rapier 1 enters and exits the warp guide tube group, the drawing angle of the threads drawn from the rapier 1 changes, and when the density of the woven fabric is high, each thread moves toward the woven part. Because the thread is squeezed, the thread is pulled out biased to one side of the rapier 1. A slight gap is provided between the slip-out prevention guide 4 or the thread guide 6 and the inner wall of the rapier 1 to allow the guide to rotate, or even if the guide is fixed with adhesive, the bonded surface will rise due to the adhesive. A gap is created between the guide end face and the inner surface of the side wall 1a of the rapier. Therefore, if the regulating part 8 is not provided, the thread pulled out toward one side of the rapier is likely to get caught in the gap between the guide and the inner surface of the side wall 1a of the rapier, and there is a risk of thread breakage or fuzzing. However, in the rapier of this invention, the thread is always pulled out while passing inside both sides of each guide 4, 6 due to the action of the regulating part 8, so there is no risk of the thread getting caught in the gap between the guide and the rapier side wall 1a. Not at all.

(Example 2) Next, a second example will be described with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7. In this embodiment, the method of attaching the retaining guide 4 is different from the previous embodiment. That is,
The rapier main body 1 is formed such that the interval S between the inner surfaces of both side walls 1a is smaller than the width w of the guide 4 for preventing the removal, and a hole 12 with a diameter slightly larger than the diameter of the guide 4 for preventing the removal of the rapier is provided at the mounting position of the guide 4 for preventing the removal. is formed. The retaining guide 4 has the holes 1 on both sides thereof.
It is fixed to the rapier 1 by a support shaft 5 while being housed in the rapier 2. Therefore, in this embodiment, the entire inner surface of the side wall 1a of the rapier 1 serves as the regulating portion 8.

(Example 3) Next, a third example will be described with reference to FIGS. 8 to 10. In this embodiment, an accommodating recess 13 with a diameter D is formed on the outer surface of one side wall 1a of the rapier 1, a through hole 14 having a slightly larger diameter than the retaining guide 4 is formed on the bottom of the accommodating recess 13, and the other A hole 12 having the same diameter as the through hole 14 is formed on the inner surface of the side wall 1a, and the guide 4 for preventing removal is formed on both sides of the hole 12 and the through hole 14.
The lid body 16 was fixed in the housing recess 13 via the support shaft 5 while being absorbed therein.

Effects of the invention As detailed above, according to this invention, it is extremely easy to insert the thread into the rapier, and when the thread is inserted into the warp, the thread may be caught between the rapier and the warp guide tube, resulting in breakage or warp threads. In addition to reliably preventing the inconvenience of deforming the guide tube, the thread always passes inside the both sides of the guide to prevent it from slipping out, so the thread does not get caught in the gap between the guide and the inner wall of the rapier body. This has an excellent effect in that the thread is drawn out quickly.
