クアツプ駆動装置に関する。

光ビームをピツクアツプ内のビームスプリツター
にて前記入射光ビームと分離した光検出素子に導
びき、デイスク面に記録されている情報を再生す
ることが行なわれている。前記デイスクに記録さ
れている情報を読み出すには前記対物レンズで集
束された入射光ビームを前記情報が記録されてい
るトラツクに沿つて正しく照射するトラツキング
を行なう必要がある。このトラツキングは狭小範
囲においては対物レンズを動かすことにより行な
われるが、広範囲ではモータによつてピツクアツ
プ全体を動かすことによつて行なつている。前記
ピツクアツプ全体をモータで移動させることは例
えば実開昭61−33269号公報に記載されている。

に追従出来なくなつたときはモータを回転し、ピ
ツクアツプ全体をデイスクの径方向に移動してい
る。ところで前記ピツクアツプのモータでの移動
量は僅かであり、一方モータはコギングがあり又
は負荷が大きいと前記モータを回転させるときに
モータへの印加電圧が大きくなり回転エネルギー
が増大する。従つてこの状態でモータが回転され
ると回転量が大きくなり過ぎて、ピツクアツプ自
体の移動量が多くなり正しくトラツキングが行な
われないことになる。

加電圧が大きくなり回転量が抑えられピツクアツ
プの移動量を必要とする大きさに出来る。

トラツキングは狭い範囲では対物レンズをトラツ
キング信号にて動かしトラツキングを行なう。前
記対物レンズを動かしてトラツキングを行なえる
のは略100トラツクの範囲で、その範囲を越える
と対物レンズを動かすのみでは入射光ビームを所
定のトラツクに照射出来なくなるので、モータ7
を回転しピツクアツプ1全体をデイスクの径方向
に移動させる。即ちモータ7に駆動電圧を印加す
ると回転軸8が回転し駆動歯車9が駆動され該駆
動歯車9に噛合う仲介歯車6を回転しスクリユー
5を回転させる。前記スクリユー5が回転される
とピツクアツプ1の螺子部4が径方向に移動し、
ピツクアツプ1全体を径方向に移動し再び入射光
ビームが所定のトラツクに照射される。

に、モータ7の回転軸8の先端部10がグリスを
充填したダンパー部材11の穴部12に挿入され
ているので、回転軸8が回転を開始してからの動
摩擦を大きくしている。従つて回転力が抑えられ
回転軸8の回転を小さくしピツクアツプ1が動き
過ぎることがないようにしている。
