BACKGROUND ART Electronic devices such as portable video tape recorders and portable televisions that use a battery as a power source are generally provided with a battery pack that stores the battery in a replaceable manner, and this battery pack is bonded to the electronic device. Conventionally, this battery pack has a structure in which metal terminals 1, 2, and 3 for electrically connecting a power source and an electronic device are exposed on the surface of the battery pack 4, as shown in a perspective view in FIG.

In the conventional battery pack 4 as described above, the metal terminals 1, 2, and 3 are exposed on the surface of the battery pack 4 and are adjacent to each other, so that when the battery pack 4 is removed from an electronic device and left alone, There was a risk that conductive objects used in daily life such as coins, clips, and pins would come into contact with the terminals 1, 2, and 3 and short-circuit the battery. Further, since the terminals 1, 2, and 3 are exposed on the surface, there is a problem in that they are easily touched by fingers during handling, causing corrosion of the metal terminals.

The present invention provides a slidable cover on the battery pack so as to cover or expose the upper surface of the terminal part of the battery pack attached to an electronic device, and when the battery pack is used alone, the cover covers the terminal part by a spring, and the battery pack is closed. The electronic device is provided with a cover opening member for opening the cover so that the terminal portion is exposed when the device is attached to the electronic device.
