(Prior Art) Generally, in an air conditioner for an automobile, an evaporator installed in a cooler unit exchanges heat between the refrigerant flowing inside the refrigerant conduit and the air flowing along the outer surface of the refrigerant conduit. The air discharged into the cabin is cooled to cool the interior of the vehicle.

Therefore, in the conventional evaporator, a water-splash prevention net is provided along the air outlet side end face for trapping condensed water (see Japanese Utility Model Application No. 57-40078). This is true for evaporators of irregular tube type, also known as serpentine type, which are formed by meandering flat refrigerant conduits with numerous refrigerant passages formed inside by extrusion molding, and laminate type evaporators. The same is true for stacked type evaporators, also known as laminated type evaporators, in which tray-shaped plates are joined together in the middle to form a refrigerant conduit with a refrigerant passage inside. A water barrier net may be installed for the purposes mentioned above.

However, if the water splash prevention net is made of metal and is brought into direct contact with the evaporator, a problem of electrical corrosion will occur due to the potential difference with the metal evaporator. It is necessary to install it with a predetermined gap between the evaporator and the evaporator.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, the stoppers for the water prevention nets conventionally attached to evaporators require the above-mentioned irregular-shaped tube type and laminated type, and when manufacturing both types of evaporators, , a stopper is formed to suit each type. Therefore, the number of parts increases, the assembly production process becomes complicated, and production efficiency decreases.
