この先端部側面8をカツタ5の切断位置に略対応
して本体4から突出されるようになつている。ま
た管体1の中心部には本体4のめねじ孔に螺合す
るおねじ部9を備えたねじ棒10が設けられてお
り、基端のハンドル11を回転させることにより
本体4内を進退動できる構造となつている。この
ねじ棒10の先端はスライダ7の基端12を押圧
して、スライダ7を本体4の先端に設けられたス
プリング13に抗して押出すためのものである。
なお14はハンドル2とハンドル11との間に適
度の抵抗を与えるためにねじ棒10の突出部外周
に設けられたコイルスプリングであり、ハンドル
2を回転したときにハンドル11を同時に回転さ
せるためのものである。(作用) このように構成されたものは、図示のように切
断すべきパイプ30の内部に管体1を所望の深さ
まで挿し込み、管体1の内部に設けられたねじ棒
10をハンドル11により前進させてねじ棒10
の先端で本体4の先端のスライダ7を押圧し、ス
ライダ7を傾斜孔6に沿つてスライドさせてその
先端部側面8を本体4から突出させてパイプ30
の内壁に当接させる。この結果、本体4の反対側

このように切断が進行するに連れてハンドル11
を更に回転させてスライダ7を前進させながらハ
ンドル2を回転させれば、カツタ5は次第に深く
パイプ30の内壁に喰込みながら回転してパイプ
30を切断する。切断完了後はねじ棒10を後退
させるとスプリング13の作用によつてスライダ
7は傾斜孔6内に引込み、管体1をパイプ30内
