DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a method of printing a film original plate onto a plate, and an object of the present invention is to accurately and easily overlay and print a film original plate on a plate.

Generally, in the printing process, a film original plate that has been made into a plate is superimposed on a plate and exposed to light. During this superposition, it is necessary to superpose the masking films and to register them with the plates of other colors, so that both need to be superimposed at precise positions. For this reason, conventionally, ruled lines were marked on the film plate at the same positions as so-called registration marks marked on the film original plate, and the two were aligned and pasted with transparent adhesive tape. In this method, the work of drawing ruled lines on the plate and registering the register marks is a detailed manual work, which puts a lot of burden on the operator and is inefficient.

In some cases, the printing press mounting holes provided in the plate are used, the same holes are formed in the film original plate, and the two are overlapped with the holes in the same position. However, even with this method, registration of register marks and creation of ruled lines are necessary.

The present invention was developed in an attempt to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional methods as described above, and as a result of various research and considerations, the present invention was completed. That is, the present invention provides three or more small holes 3, 13, 23, 3', 13', 23' which are in the same positional relationship and have the same shape in the film original plate 1 and the plate 2, respectively. Since the present invention employs the method described above, it is possible to overlay and fix the film original plate on the plate at an accurately determined position. Since the operation is simple, the efficiency can be improved compared to the conventional method. Furthermore, since the film original plate uses only the necessary portion of the film, material costs can be reduced, and since it can be exposed using existing equipment, it is expected that it will be widely applied in the printing process of printing plates.
