本考案はメモリーIC搭載カードにおいて、そ
の外装の長辺片側の厚み部分に厚み中心線に対し
て対称形でない溝を設けることにより、逆差し防
止を施したものである。

部機器へ装着する際に逆差し防止可能なICカー

本考案のICカードは、ICカードを構成する外

ある。3は溝である。溝3は、厚み中心線に対し
て対称形でなく、外部機器に接続されているこの
溝3と同型をした突起をもつコネクタを用い、溝
3と突起を合わせる様にして差し込みコンタクト
する。

構成する外装ケースの長辺側壁の少なくとも一方
に、前記側壁の厚み中心線に対して対称形となら
ない溝を設ける構成としたので、例えばこの溝と
同型の突起を有するコネクターへICカードを逆
に挿入しようとしても、この溝と突起とは係合不
可能となるので、ICカードの逆差し防止ができ
るという効果を有する。
