[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] This invention relates to a pot cover for a flower pot that serves both as a decoration for indoor flower pots and as a receiver for surplus water from irrigation.

Conventionally, pot covers for flower pots of this kind have been made of plastic or metal material into a cylindrical shape with a bottom, and the shapes include, for example, a bell-like shape, a cone-like shape, an inverted bell-like shape, a dish-like shape, and a tray-like shape. In addition, in order to enhance the sense of decoration, there were various types such as those shaped like wine glasses or goblets, those with the upper half of the body made to look transparent, and others.

Among the pot covers for flower pots, short ones or those with a net-like upper half often overflowed when watered a little too much. In addition, tall plants could collect too much water, which could have a negative impact on the roots of the plants. Particularly in rooms equipped with floor heating, the water inside the cover was heated, causing the roots of plants to rot.

Therefore, it is necessary for plant management to periodically water small amounts of water, although this may vary depending on the plant, but regular watering is extremely difficult. Especially when you go on a trip and can't get water for several days, there's nothing you can do about it.

This idea was created to solve the above problems, and was designed to be a pot for flower pots that can be watered regularly, and also allows surplus water to be stored and disposed of without touching the roots of the plants. It is intended to provide cover.

In order to achieve the above object, this invention provides an inner bottom plate having a water collection hole on the side of the cylinder, and a housing part for a drainage hose connected to the water collection hole is provided at the lower part of the inner bottom plate. A water-permeable pot holder is provided on the top side, and an irrigation tank with a means for periodic irrigation is provided on the upper edge of the cylinder, making it easy to perform regular irrigation while you are away and to dispose of surplus water after returning home. It is configured so that it can be done.

In the figure, 1 is a pot cover of the present application, and 2 is a cylindrical body constituting the pot cover 1 of the present application. The cylindrical body 2 is made of plastic material, metal material, ceramics, etc. in a round shape, but the planar shape may be square, elliptical, or other shapes, and the side shape may be a round shape, a cone shape, or an inverted bell shape. Alternatively, it may be shaped like a wine glass or a cup. It may also be shaped to accommodate multiple pots at the same time. The size (diameter and height of the opening) can also be arbitrarily determined.

3 is an inner bottom plate of the cylindrical body 2, and the inner bottom plate 3 has a water collection hole 4 in the center. The lower space of the inner bottom plate 3 having the water collection hole 4 serves as a housing portion 6 for a drainage hose 5 whose base end is connected to and communicates with the water collection hole 4 . It is preferable to provide a reel 7 in the child storage section 6. In particular, it is more preferable that the drain hose 5 pulled out by the reel 7 can be automatically wound up by the power of a spring, a motor, or the like. A pot 8 is provided at the tip of the drain hose 5.

Reference numeral 9 denotes a pot stand installed on the upper surface side of the inner bottom plate 3 of the cylindrical body 2, and the pot stand 9 consists of a stand surface 9a formed of a linear body a and legs 9b. The linear body a is formed to collect excess irrigation water accumulated on the inner bottom plate 3 through water collection holes 4.
This is to allow water to pass through without interfering with water collection. Therefore, it may be formed of a material other than a linear body as long as it is structurally water permeable. Further, the legs 9b of the pot stand 9 may be made to expand and contract depending on the height of the flowerpot H. Alternatively, the legs may be omitted by locking with multistage locking protrusions (not shown) provided on the inner wall of the cylindrical body 2.

Reference numeral 10 denotes a irrigation tank removably installed on the upper edge of the cylinder 2, and the irrigation tank 10 has a water supply port 11 on the top surface,
Irrigation ports 12 and 13 are provided on the inner wall surface. The irrigation ports 12 and 13 are provided vertically at different levels. Further, the upper and lower irrigation ports 12 and 13 each have valve means 121 and 131 that can be opened and closed periodically.

The valve means 121 of the upper irrigation port 12 is a swinging lever 123 having a stopper 122, as shown in FIGS. 3a and 3b.
The upper end of the lever protrudes from the upper surface slit 124 of the tank 10 and is connected to the plunger ranger 126 of the solenoid 125, and is normally biased in the closing direction by a spring 127. Therefore, when the solenoid 125 is energized, the spring 12
7, the lever 123 is pulled, and the irrigation port 12 is opened.

On the other hand, the valve means 131 of the lower irrigation port 13 includes a seesaw-shaped first lever 133 having a stopper 132 at the lower end, as shown in FIGS.
It is provided with a seesaw-shaped second lever 134 whose upper end is pressed to open the tank. Therefore, the first lever 133 is always urged in the closing direction by the spring 138, and the second lever 134 is normally in a non-acting position with respect to the first lever 133 due to the action of the spring 139. Thus, when the solenoid 136 is energized, the second lever 134 operates in the opening direction of the first lever 133.

The opening time of the solenoids 125 and 136 is controlled by a timer 14, for example. That is, the irrigation tank 10 is filled up as shown in Figure 3a,
When the upper irrigation port 12 is opened at the time controlled by the timer 14, all the water in the tank above the irrigation port 12 flows out, as shown in FIG. 1B, to provide irrigation. This remaining water is kept in a closed state at the lower irrigation port 13 as shown in Figure c, but when the time controlled by the timer 14 comes, the lower irrigation port 13
When opened, it flows out.

In addition, although the case where the irrigation ports 12 and 13 were provided in two stages, upper and lower, was shown in the above-mentioned example, it may be provided in three or more stages. Also, the mechanism shown above as a valve means may be replaced by any other suitable mechanism.

17 is a heat insulating member fitted to the lower end surface of the cylindrical body 2, and when the cover of the present invention is used in a room equipped with floor heating, excess irrigation water collected in the cylindrical body absorbs heat from the floor. This makes it difficult to warm up.

FIG. 4 is a partial perspective view of the drain hose used as a water gauge. In this case, the drain hose 5 is made of a transparent or translucent material, and is hung on a hanger 18 provided on the outer wall of the cylinder 2 with the hose end open. This configuration has the advantage that the tip of the drain hose 5 can be stored and the fixed water gauge can be omitted.

FIG. 5 is an explanatory diagram when the water supply pipe 20 of the irrigation tank 10 is connected to the water faucet 21 via the water supply controller 19. That is, irrigation tank 10
The irrigation port 13 is provided only on the lower side, and the irrigation port 13 itself is not provided with a valve means for periodic opening and closing, and the water supply controller 19 is operated to periodically supply water into the tank, thereby ensuring that the appropriate amount of water is supplied at the right time. We are making it possible.
