各吸気通路にスロツトル弁を介装し、これらスロ
ツトル弁をスロツトルボデイを貫通する単一の弁
軸に取付ける共に、弁軸の各端部を軸受を介して
スロツトルボデイに回動自由に支持させ、かつ両
スロツトル弁の間に位置する弁軸をスロツトルボ
デイの中空孔に中空孔内壁と所定間隙を介して挿
通するようにした内燃機関のスロツトル装置にお
いて、前記中空孔内に位置する弁軸の吸気通路下
流側を切除し、弁軸外壁と中空孔内壁との所定間
隙を吸気通路上流側よりも吸気通路下流側を大き
く形成するようにしたことを特徴とする内燃機関
