- 記録媒体に対し浮上可能なスライダに、磁束の
通路となるコアと巻線コイルと磁気ギヤツプとか
らなる薄膜ヘツドユニツトが設けられた薄膜磁気
ヘツドにおいて、前記薄膜ヘツドユニツトのうち
コアおよび巻線コイルを、前記記録媒体面とほぼ
平行な上面若しくは下面に設けたことを特徴とす
る薄膜磁気ヘツド。
