As is clear from the above explanation, in the conventional fault notification system, each monitored exchange 1a to 1z
In each case, measures have been taken to improve reliability, such as making the information transmission paths 3a to 3z have a duplex configuration. However, in recent years, as large-capacity PCM links have been widely adopted for inter-office transmission lines, information transmission lines 3a to 3z are also
One specific channel of the PCM link is used, and in many cases both channels configuring the duplexed information transmission paths 3a to 3z are accommodated in the same PCM link.
The improvement in reliability of a to 3z cannot necessarily be said to be sufficient. Furthermore, if the main power supply of the monitored exchanges 1a to 1z stops, or if the central control unit of the monitored exchanges 1a to 1z that has storage program controlled exchanges stops functioning, etc. If a failure occurs that paralyzes the functions, various alarms and status information cannot be sent to the information transmission paths 3a to 3z, and the central monitoring center 2
It becomes impossible to take appropriate measures.

(f) Embodiment of the invention An embodiment of the invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing a failure notification system according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating the configuration of the monitored switching center in FIG. 2. Note that the same reference numerals indicate the same objects throughout the figures. In FIG. 2, each of the monitored exchanges 1a to 1z belonging to the exchange system is connected to a predetermined neighboring exchange by information transfer lines 4a to 4z dedicated for important alarms. For example, monitored exchanges 1a and 1b are connected by information transfer lines 4a and 4b, and monitored exchanges 1y and 1z are connected by information transmission lines 4y and 4z. FIG. 3 shows a monitored exchange 1a and a monitored exchange 1b.
The interrelationship with is exemplified. The configuration inside the monitored switching center 1b is the same as that of the monitored switching center 1a, so the details are omitted. In the monitored exchange 1a, a monitoring stand 6 is attached to the monitored exchange 5. Important alarms JA and non-important alarms NA sent from each component of the monitored exchange 5 are collected by an alarm collection circuit 61 and transmitted to a control circuit 66. An important alarm JA is a monitored exchange alarm that is issued when the external monitoring device 7 periodically calls the monitored exchange 5 and does not receive a normal response (for example, returning a dial tone) from the monitored exchange 5. This includes an alarm indicating a functional stoppage of No. 5, an alarm indicating a main power supply stoppage, etc. Further, various alarms and status information collected by a central control unit (not shown) in the monitored exchange 5 are transmitted to a control circuit 66 via an interface circuit 62 in the monitoring stand 6. The important alarm JA input to the alarm collection circuit 61 is also input to the alarm transfer circuit 64, and after being edited into a predetermined alarm format, it is sent to the monitored exchange 1 via the information transfer line 4a.
transferred to b. On the other hand, in the monitored exchange 1b, the alarm transfer circuit 64 in the monitoring stand 6 also sends an important alert.
JA is edited and transferred to the monitored exchange 1a via the information transfer line 4b. In the monitored exchange 1a, the alarm receiving circuit 65 in the monitoring stand 6 receives important alerts from the monitored exchange 1b coming from the information transfer line 4b.
JA is received and transmitted to the control circuit 66. The control circuit 66 assigns a code for identifying the monitored exchange 1a to various alarms and status information transmitted from the alarm collection circuit 61 and the interface circuit 62,
Further, after adding a code for identifying the monitored exchange 1b to the important alarm JA of the monitored exchange 1b transmitted from the alarm receiving circuit 65, it is edited into a predetermined information format and transmitted to the alarm sender 63. Alarm sender 63
sends out the edited various alarms and status information to the information transmission line 3a connected via the monitored exchange 5. In such a state, a failure occurs such that the information transmission line 3 connecting the monitored exchange 1b and the central monitoring center 2 becomes unable to transmit, or the monitored exchange 5 in the monitored exchange 1b stops functioning. If such a failure occurs, it becomes impossible to transmit various warnings and status information from the monitored exchange 1b to the central monitoring center 2. However, as long as the critical fault JA is transferred to the monitored switching center 1a via the information transfer line 4b, the monitoring stand 6 in the normally operating monitored switching center 1a will be transferred to the monitored switching center 1b as described above. Important alert JA with identification code
Various alarms and status information including
The information is transmitted to the central monitoring center 2 via a. Therefore, the centralized monitoring center 2 can receive the important alert JA regarding the monitored exchange 1b via the monitored exchange 1a and the information transmission path 3a, and can take appropriate measures. In addition, monitored exchange 1
Even if the monitored exchange 5 in a stops functioning or the information transmission path 3a becomes unable to transmit, the important alarm JA of the monitored exchange 1a is sent to the monitored exchanges 1b and 1a in the same manner as described above. Information transmission path 3b
The information is transmitted to the central monitoring center 2 via.

As is clear from the above explanation, according to this embodiment, even if it becomes impossible to directly transmit various alarms and status information from the monitored exchange 1a or 1b to the central monitoring center 2, at least the important alarm JA will be sent. Central monitoring center 2 via monitored exchange 1b or 1a connected by information transfer lines 4a and 4b.
This allows appropriate measures to be taken quickly.

Note that FIGS. 2 and 3 are only one embodiment of the present invention, and the configuration of the monitoring platform 6, for example, is not limited to that shown in the figures, and many other modifications may be considered. However, in either case, the effects of the present invention remain the same. Further, the editing and sending means for various alarms and status information is not limited to being provided on the monitoring stand 6, and many other forms may be considered, but the effects of the present invention will not change in any case. Furthermore, it goes without saying that the configuration of the exchange system to which the present invention is applied is not limited to that shown in the drawings.
