[Detailed explanation of the invention] A. Purpose of the invention (industrial field of application) This invention is used in the synthetic resin molding industry and is a highly weather-resistant core material that is attached to the edge of steps in vehicles such as buses. Pertains to curved step edge materials.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, when the conventional step edge material is made of rubber or plastic, it does not have a core material inside, so it can be used as it is for steps such as bus entrances and stairs. When attached to the step edge, it is either glued or screwed, so the attached step edge material can break or fall off in a short period of time due to shocks when getting on and off the bus, vibrations from the bus, and other types of shock, and the step may no longer function as a step. If the step is made of metal such as aluminum alloy, it may be bent to match the shape of the edge of the step, and the mounting surface may be bent to fit the edge of the doorway or staircase. Therefore, the step edge material cannot be manufactured at a low cost because it is very time-consuming to perform accurate bending.

Reference numeral 4 denotes a synthetic resin outer skin part which is placed on the bent metal core material 1 and blends in with it. When laminated by hot pressure, the bent metal core material 1 is coated with a resin adhesive such as phenol-modified acrylic adhesive on the surface in advance. Metal core material 1
are laminated in such a way that they are sandwiched between synthetic resin plates mainly made of vinyl chloride, and these are bonded under hot pressure using a hot press or the like, and then bent using a resin adhesive to form a metal core material 1.
The synthetic resin plate is integrally bonded to the synthetic resin plate, or when extrusion molding is used, the bent metal core material 1 is coated with a phenol-modified acrylic adhesive in advance, and then the bent metal core 1 is coated with vinyl chloride, stabilizers, plasticizers, and fillers. The resin melting temperature is 185 by mixing the agent and additive materials in a specified manner.
The synthetic resin part of the exterior is extruded and molded using an extrusion molding machine along with the resin raw material heated to ℃.Synthetic resin materials in various colors are used.

Reference numeral A denotes an arcuate curved step edge material made of the bent metal core 1 and synthetic resin outer skin 4, and the step edge material is laminated or extruded to facilitate bending by boiler steam. , soften the outer skin part 4 with moist air (temperature 80°C to 90°C), apply it to the wooden mold 5, bend it along the wooden mold 5 so as to widen the cut side of the cut 2, and bend it to a predetermined shape. After being bent, the outer skin part 4 is cooled with cold water to harden the softened outer skin part 4 and maintain the bent state.

C. Effect of the invention The curved step edge material with a core material of the present invention consists of a bent metal core material having a plurality of notches expanded by bending, and a synthetic resin provided to cover the bent metal core material. The flexible outer skin part and the plurality of cuts are provided in a direction that crosses the bent metal core material, and the cuts are arranged in parallel, so that this can be used, for example, as a boarding entrance for a bus. When installing on the edge of a step such as a staircase in a building, the step edge material has a core material inside, so it will not be easily damaged or fall off, and a strong installation can be achieved. The bending process can be easily formed using a wooden mold or the like by making cuts in the bent metal core material, so it is easy to obtain a bending step edge material with an accurate and reliable curvature, and it does not require special and expensive bending equipment. Since there is no need for this, it can be produced in small quantities and has the unique effect of being able to be manufactured at low cost.
