The ventilation system of the present invention includes a ventilation grate with ventilation holes formed in a plurality of downward facing walls, a front edge fixed to the opening periphery of an exterior material placed on the indoor side of the ventilation gara, and an opening on the front and top surfaces to connect the ventilation gill to the outside wall. An opened ventilation hood, a windmill rotatably supported within the ventilation hood and rotated by incoming wind of a predetermined wind pressure or higher, and a windmill that rotates in conjunction with the rotation axis of the windmill and spreads due to its centrifugal force to spread out the ventilation hood. The ventilation hood includes an umbrella-shaped damper that closes an opening on the top surface, and a bypass air path that opens from the rear surface of the ventilation hood to the front surface of the exterior material.

By this,
The opening of the ventilation hood is closed to prevent rainwater from entering the room along with the incoming wind. In this case, the bypass air passage maintains a constant flow of air and the windmill continues to rotate, so the damper can reliably close the opening. In addition, when there is no wind or weak wind,
The damper becomes deflated and natural ventilation occurs. At this time, even if the ventilation hood is open, rainwater will not enter due to the incoming wind.

The ventilation hood 2 is fixed to the exterior material 1a by a flange 2b on the front periphery with fasteners (not shown) such as wood screws. Similar to the example shown in FIG. 8, a large number of ventilation hoods 2 are arranged vertically, and a ventilation hood 5 and a mesh body 6 are arranged on the outdoor side. The ventilation rack 5 has downward walls 5a formed in multiple stages, and ventilation holes 7 formed in each downward wall 5a.

A is connected to a rotating shaft 15 of a wind turbine 14 provided on the front surface of the ventilation hood 2 via bevel gears 16 and 17. Support members 18 and 19 support the rotating shafts 13a and 15 on the ventilation hood 2. The ventilation hood 2 is provided with a bypass air passage 20 that opens from the rear surface to the front surface of the exterior material 1a. The outlet 20a of the bypass air passage 20 is arranged at a location where wind pressure is difficult to act, that is, at a location where the ventilation hole 7 of the ventilation hole 5 is not provided.

is rotated vigorously. That rotation is damper 1
3 and the centrifugal force causes each vane plate 13b to spread as shown by the chain line in the figure. Therefore, the opening 2a of the ventilation hood 2 is closed to block the wind. Therefore, even if it rains, rainwater will not enter the house along with the incoming wind. Opening 2a with damper 13
Even if the is closed, there is a bypass air passage 20, so
Air flow is maintained and the windmill 14 continues to rotate.
When there is no wind or weak wind, damper 1 is set as shown by the solid line in the figure.
3 is in a deflated state and natural ventilation is performed. Note that the installation location of this ventilation device is not limited to the location of the ventilation pane 53 in FIG. 2, but may be located anywhere on the outer wall 1. The outer wall 1 here refers to the outer peripheral part of a building, and may be a cloth foundation, or a curtain part between upper and lower floor outer wall panels of a building.

In the ventilation system of this invention, when the wind is strong, the windmill is rotated by the incoming wind from the ventilation hole in the ventilation hole.
This rotation is transmitted to the damper via the rotating shaft, and the damper expands due to centrifugal force. This closes the opening of the ventilation hood and prevents rainwater from entering the room along with the incoming wind. In this case, the bypass air passage maintains a constant flow of air and the windmill continues to rotate, so the damper can reliably close the opening. In addition, when there is no wind or weak wind, the damper is in a deflated state, which has the effect of natural ventilation. In addition, by setting the ventilation holes formed in the downward facing wall and the opening formed on the top surface of the ventilation hood, upward air can be brought into the room. This provides extremely good ventilation.
In addition, since the ventilation holes and the openings formed on the top surface of the ventilation hood are approximately horizontal, even if the damper does not close the openings on the top surface of the ventilation hood in a calm state,
This has the effect of preventing rain from penetrating indoors.
