The communication device unit 6 is cubic in shape, and is provided with guide mounting members 7 at the top and bottom to allow insertion by fitting with the guide support brackets 5. The rear side is connected to a connector (jack) provided on the bottom surface of the column 3.
A mating connector (plug) 9 is provided to connect with 8, and there is a screw 10 on the front side for fixing to the guide support bracket 5.

In the above conventional structure, the units 2 are arranged in tandem on the rack 1.
Correspondingly, a supporting column 3 was installed on each unit 2, and guide support fittings 5 and guide mounting members 7 were required above and below each unit 2, resulting in a large-scale structure with many components and troublesome assembly. Therefore, it was impossible to expect an increase in weight and, by extension, a reduction in price. In addition, the circulation of air inside the rack is obstructed, and various measures have to be taken to improve the cooling effect. In particular, the installation of the rack pillars 3 divides the inside of the rack into a front side and a rear side. The efficiency of distribution and use of internal space cannot be said to be good either.

Since the unit 2 is installed based on the frame 3, if the length of the unit in the depth direction is not the same, the front side will not match the whole unit. The plug-in connection method of the connector makes it easy to install and remove the circuit. There is also the inconvenience that electrical inspection at the connection part cannot be performed unless the unit is removed.

(4) Structure of the invention In order to achieve the above object, the gist of the communication equipment rack unit structure of the invention is that a pair of pillars are installed on both sides of a vertical rack, and a vertical structure is provided between the pillars. A crosspiece member that is horizontally suspended over the entire surface with a predetermined interval, a unit that is inserted into the vertical interval of the crosspiece member, and a mounting that projects vertically from the front position of the upper and lower surfaces of the unit. Consists of metal fittings,
A guide pin is horizontally protruded from the upper crosspiece, a pin hole is provided in the upper mounting bracket, the pin hole is inserted into the guide pin, the unit is suspended from the guide pin, and the upper and lower mounting brackets are connected to the upper and lower mounting brackets respectively. It is characterized in that it is fastened and fixed to the crosspiece member.

FIG. 3 shows an embodiment of the present invention, showing the main parts in a separated state. Inside the frame 11, a pair of pillars 12 having an L-shaped cross section are erected on both left and right sides, and the pillars 12 are provided with a large number of mounting holes 13 in the vertical direction at predetermined intervals. Crosspiece members 15 and 16 having opposite L-shaped leg portions 14 at the left and right ends and vertically spaced at a predetermined interval are horizontally suspended between the frame columns 12 and are screwed using the mounting holes 13.

A plurality of crosspiece members 15 and 16 are arranged in the vertical direction at intervals to be described later, and the upper crosspiece member 15 of the pair of crosspiece members has a guide pin 17 projecting in the horizontal direction and a guide pin 17 on the left and right sides of the guide pin 17. A screw hole 18 is formed in each case, and a screw hole 19 is formed in the lower crosspiece member 16 at a corresponding position. A plurality of these guide pins 17 and screw holes 19 are provided at predetermined intervals.

L-shaped mounting brackets 21 and 22 are provided on the upper and lower sides of the communication device unit 20, which has a cubic shape. The lower mounting bracket 22 is provided with a similar screw 25 and an electrical connector 26, as the screw 24 is a known neck screw to prevent it from falling out.

With the above configuration, the unit 20 is brought into the rack and the guide pin 17 is inserted into the pin hole 23 and fitted. Since the unit 20 is now suspended and supported by the pin 17 and positioned, the mounting screws 24 and 25 are screwed into the threaded holes 18 and 19, respectively. That is, the spacing between the crosspiece members 15 and 16 is determined so that the unit 20 can be inserted and mounted. Figure 4 is a side view of that state.
28 is a connected electric cable, and 28 is a feeder wire between antennas connected to a connector provided on the front panel. As is clear from this figure, the crosspiece member 1
The height of the leg part 6 is lower than that of 15, so that the bent protrusion of the cable 27 including the connected connector does not protrude beyond the front surface of the unit 20.

As described above, according to the structure of the present invention, since the frame columns do not have a shape that partitions the inside of the frame into front and rear parts as in the conventional case, the space can be used effectively and cables etc. can be laid freely. Since only one pair of pillars is needed on the left and right sides, the weight is significantly reduced and assembly is easy. Since the crosspiece member is located at the front, the depth of the unit can be set to any desired value as long as the distance between this surface and the front surface is constant, and the length can be set to the optimum length.

The guide pin is only one on the upper side so that the unit can be supported in a suspended manner, making installation easier. If a neck 17' is formed in the middle as shown in Fig. 5, the unit can be easily installed even when all the mounting screws are loosened. It is possible to prevent the material from falling off easily.

(6) Effects of the invention As explained above, according to the structure of the invention, the beam members are hung horizontally on a pair of pillars installed on the frame, and the units are fastened to these, resulting in significant improvements. It is extremely superior in terms of saving parts, making effective use of internal space, smooth air flow, flexibility in mounting units, and ease of maintenance and inspection. It is something that By protruding vertically from the front positions of the upper and lower surfaces of the unit, the mounting brackets not only allow the front surfaces to be aligned regardless of the depth of the unit, but also allow fastening means such as mounting screws to be easily attached. Workability is good because it is on the front side. By using only the guide pin at the top, the unit can be placed in a suspended state, making it easier to attach and detach the unit.
It has exceptional effects such as good workability and no risk of accidentally dropping the unit.

Although the present invention has been described with reference to only one unit, it goes without saying that a large number of units can be mounted in the horizontal and vertical directions, units of any size can be mounted, and the fastening means is not limited to screws. A one-touch type fastener may also be used.
