受光部とが光学的に結合されるよう被検出物の通
過路を挟んで対向して設けられ、前記発光部の発
光面に投光窓が形成され、前記受光部の受光面に
採光窓が形成された光結合装置において、前記受
光面に、発光素子からの光を絞り込んで受光素子
に受光させるための絞り窓を有する遮光板の表面
がほぼ面一となるよう前記受光部に一体成形され
