In either method, X-ray irradiation and imaging are performed while the holding state is maintained.

The edges and corners of the film plate often hit the patient's oral floor mucosa and mandibular ridge, causing pain to the patient.
Furthermore, since it is difficult for the examinee to adjust the motion when biting the holder, he or she often endures the pain and continues chewing, and in such cases, the inside of the oral cavity that the film plate touches may be injured.

There is a high risk of the adhesive material coming off, and on the other hand, if the adhesive material is strong, it will take time to remove the adhesive material when developing the film. Furthermore, since the cushion material is provided on both sides of the film plate, which is irrelevant to the prevention of pain, there is a problem that material is wasted.

Unavoidably, there is a high risk that the protective cover will peel off when it is moved within the oral cavity. In addition, since the protective cover is provided even around the edges of the film plate, which are not relevant to pain prevention, there are other problems such as wasted materials.

A cushion 3 is made of a cushion-like plate material in the shape of an approximately horizontally long strip, and a slit 3a is formed in the middle part of the upper end surface in the shape of a notch along the longitudinal direction.
The present invention is characterized in that the cushion 3 is held on the bottom side of the film plate 2 by inserting the bottom side of the film plate 2 into the slit 3a.

Since the vicinity of the hem edge of the film where there is a risk of being hit is covered with a cushion having shock-absorbing properties, the risk of the patient receiving pain or the oral cavity being injured by the film is eliminated.
