The sport of golf begins with hitting a stationary ball as far as possible.
To do this, you need a powerful swing that is faithful to the basics.

However, in the case of beginners and golfers whose scores are not improving at all, it may be because they are unable to objectively recognize the quality of their own swings.
There is a tendency to try to increase distance by swinging with more force than necessary, and not only does it take considerable effort to break this bad habit, but it is also difficult to self-diagnose the habit.

Normally, there are many batting habits that golfers tend to have, but in this case, they are unable to properly distribute the power of both hands during the swing, so in the case of right-handed batters, the power of the dominant hand is greater than the power of the left hand. The power of the right hand acts strongly, and the more forcefully you try to swing, the more force you tend to put on your dominant hand.

Generally speaking, a good swing in golf involves, for a right-handed hitter, the left hand and left shoulder working together from the take-back to the back-swing, the club gripped in the left hand (with the right hand just touching it), swung up by pushing it up with the left shoulder. If you move your left shoulder fully under your chin and enter the downswing from this topswing state, that is, your shoulders are fully rotated, your shoulders will fall behind even if you don't try to swing the club down with your arms. A natural swing down motion is performed. At this time, the wrist, which is naturally lightly cocked while in the top swing state, is swung down in that state, creating a buildup of force, which causes a strong impact and the swing is swung out.

However, in the case of a bad swing, the rotation of the left shoulder is insufficient, resulting in a backswing where the club is swung up with the right hand, which is the dominant hand, and the player attempts to compensate for the insufficient rotation of the left shoulder during the top swing stage. ,
He tries to cope by unconsciously tightening his wrists, resulting in an overswing, and although he swings down in reaction, he still tightens his wrists too much.
The ball is released earlier than the proper impact position, resulting in a hand-hitting impact in which the right hand, which is the dominant hand, wins too much compared to the left hand.As a result, mistakes such as duffling or tops occur, and the direction of the ball is incorrect. This is also a factor in not being able to reach the desired distance.

The present invention allows golfers to relatively easily correct the flaws that golfers tend to suffer from, as described above, and prevents unnecessary force from being applied to the dominant hand, resulting in an overswing. Golf practice that prevents mistakes such as duffling and toppling caused by the wrist being loosened on the near side from the moment of impact, resulting in manual hitting, and allows you to acquire a powerful swing that is faithful to the basics. The company provided a tool for correcting hitting style.

(Example 1) The first example of the present invention is shown in Figures 1 to 4 of the attached drawings.
To explain according to the figures, 1 is a substantially cylindrical sliding guide made of plastic or thin metal plate,
A fitting slit 2 is formed in the central upper surface in the longitudinal direction, and once the slit 2 is fitted into the shaft portion 3 of the golf club, the guide tool 1 is pulled up to the grip portion 4 of the golf club. When the club is gripped, a guide tool 1 is unslidably fitted into a grip part 4 near the shaft, which is the position of the dominant hand, and the guide tool 1 is fixedly supported by making the line of the slit 2 substantially coincide with the center line of the club shaft 3. 5 is a gripping tool that is usually held with the dominant hand, and in the case of a right-handed batter, the right side 5R of the gripping tool 5 is held with the thumb a and its base of the right hand, and the other fingers are held with the index finger b, middle finger c, and ring finger. Hold the left side 5L of the gripping tool 5 with d and little finger e (however, little finger e can come off). In the case of the gripper 5 of the first embodiment, it has a shape and structure suitable for beginners and golfers with extremely poor swings, and is molded from a relatively lightweight material such as plastic or metal. The outline thereof is as follows: a semi-arc-shaped fitting part 6 fitted into substantially the lower half of the sliding guide 1; A notch is made in the right side 5R of the gripping tool 5 to divide it into three parts, and a wing-shaped right side wall 8 is formed upwardly in the center toward the front side. Between the thumb resting part 9 which is provided protruding toward the right side at the tip position of 5R and has an arcuate concave upper surface, the near side part of the right side part 5L and the lower inclined groove 8a of the wing-shaped right side wall part 8. The overall structure is made up of a notch 10 in which a notch is formed.

If you make a golf swing while holding the grip 5 in this way, if it is a bad swing, you will swing the club mainly with your right hand, which is your dominant hand, and you will notice that the rotation around your left shoulder is insufficient during the top swing stage. I unconsciously try to cope by tightening my wrists. Then, because the gripping tool 5 held in the right hand, which is the dominant hand, is indirectly gripped against the grip part 4 of the club via the sliding guide 1, too much force is applied to the right hand than necessary, causing unconsciousness. At the moment when the wrist was about to be tightened, grasping tool 5
swings toward the shaft side, which makes further backswing difficult. With this, the golfer recognizes that his or her backswing is incorrect, and learns how to backswing with such a weak force that the gripper 5 held in the dominant hand does not slide when swinging up.
It functions to correct excessive overswing.

On the other hand, even if the backswing can be performed faithfully to the basics as described above, the force of the dominant hand enters too early in the downswing stage than the proper impact position, resulting in a so-called hand swing. 5 is pushed out in the direction in which it comes off from the grip portion 4, that is, toward the back side of the grip portion 4, making further swinging down operation difficult. With this, the golfer recognizes that the impact state caused by his own downswing is incorrect, and attempts to make a downswing to impact with such weak force that the grip 5 held in his dominant hand does not come off when swinging down. It helps players learn how to bat and corrects the negative effects caused by a batting style in which the right hand is too early.

(Embodiment 2) The gripping tool 11 shown in FIGS. 6 to 11 is a diagram showing a second embodiment suitable for use by a golfer with few habits to check the quality of his golf swing. Also in the case of the gripping tool 11 shown in the same figure, it is loosely fitted and supported by the sliding guide tool 1 which is fitted and fixed to the grip part 4 of the golf club, and can be slid freely when excessive force is applied to the dominant hand. It is configured to function so that it can freely float or swing with respect to the grip portion. In the case of the gripping tool 11 of this second embodiment, the cross-sectional form is approximately horseshoe-shaped, and the sliding guide tool 1

4, a right side wall portion 15 curved in an arc toward the upper inner side of the right side portion 11R of the gripping tool 11, and a slight inward protrusion at approximately the center of the tips of these left and right side wall portions 13, 15. The upper edge portions of the left and right side wall portions 13, 15 extend toward the front from the relatively large-diameter tip position. It has a relatively small diameter and is gently inclined.

(Function) After fitting and fixing the sliding guide 1 to the grip portion 4 of the golf club in the same manner as in the first embodiment, grip the grip portion 4 on the near side of the guide 1 with your left hand. Next, the gripping tool 11 is fitted into the guide tool 1, and as shown in FIG. It is gripped by placing and supporting it diagonally across the mounting part 14 at the tip of the left side wall part 13.

When making a golf swing using this gripping tool 11, the club is swung up mainly with the right hand, which is the dominant hand, and as a result, if the wrist jerks more than necessary and swings back, the club will be gripped at the moment the wrist jerks. Since the tool 11 slides, it corrects the harmful effects caused by excessive backswing, and
During the downswing, if the force of the dominant hand enters too early than the proper impact position, the gripping tool 11 held by the dominant hand is pressed by the thumb a, and at that moment a snapping sound is made and it engages with the guide tool 1. The engagement state with the mating protrusion 16 is released, and it is possible to know at what point in the downswing the sound was generated. Moreover, since the front side of the gripping tool 11 has a slightly larger diameter than the outer diameter of the grip part 4 to prevent it from falling out, the front side of the gripping tool 11 and its tip are pressed down as an unspecified fulcrum, and the gripping tool 11 swings. By doing so, these engagements are released, and the adverse effects caused by exerting more force than necessary on the dominant hand from the downswing to just before impact are eliminated.

In addition, in the case of Example 1 and Example 2 described above,
After fitting and fixing the sliding guide 1 to the grip portion 4 of the gripping tools 5 and 11, the gripping tools 5 and 11 are made to be able to slide freely relative to the guide 1, and are loosely supported so that they can be attached and detached or can freely swing and float. However, the inner wall surface of these gripping tools 5, 11 themselves can be coated directly to make them slippery, or they can be made to be slippery by being coated with hair, or by providing small protrusions at coarse intervals on the inner wall surface to make it slippery. Although we support this invention, it does not change the gist of the present invention in any way.

Moreover, the gripping tools 5 and 1 shown in the above-mentioned Examples 1 and 2
1 has been described for the case of a right-handed player, but it can also be made into a corrective tool for a left-handed player by forming it bilaterally symmetrically with the cases of Examples 1 and 2. Among them, in the case of the gripper 11 shown in the second embodiment,
The resting part 14 for the right thumb a was formed by protruding slightly inward at a position near the top end of the left side wall part 13, but a position near the top end of the right side wall part 15, which is a symmetrical position to this, was formed. By protruding the left thumb rest 17 inward at the position shown in the imaginary line in FIG. 8, it can be used for both right-handed and left-handed players.

In the present invention, a sliding guide is fitted into the grip portion of a golf club as in the present invention, a gripping tool is loosely fitted and supported on the sliding guide, and the gripping tool is provided with a portion substantially below the sliding guide. A golf practice hitting method comprising a fitting part fitted into the half part, walls formed on both left and right sides of the fitting part, and a thumb resting part protruding from the tip of one of the walls. Since it is a corrective device, it corrects overswing in the golf swing and eliminates bad habits associated with undesirable swings such as turning the wrist just before the proper impact and resulting in a manual swing, and the accompanying harm. It brings about various effects such as being extremely useful in learning a golf swing faithful to the basics and checking the swing.
