すように、円偏光板5bの表裏両面に、夫々の透
明ガラス板5aを重合して一体形成したものであ
る。

示像を前方から視認しうるようにしてなる反射型
表示装置において、前記ハウジングの開口部に、
2枚の透光板で円偏光板を挾持しかつその表側透
光板の表面に無反射コーテイングを施した前面カ
バーを配設すると共に、前記表示器の表示面に該
表示器からの表示像が前記前面カバーに反射され
ることを防止するルーバ型フイルタを近設せしめ
て、表示器からの表示像の前面カバーによる反射
と、外来光の反射を有効に防止して鮮明なる表示
像を目視し得る反射型表示装置を提供することに
ある。

るため、そのルーバ型フイルタ7の面と、前面カ
バー6とがなす角θが鈍角となるように配置して
ある。

に施したものであるから、この無反射コーテイン
グ層6cの作用によつて、その前面カバー6に当
つた外来光は、その前面カバー6を透過してハウ
ジング2内に吸収される。また表示器1の表示面
に面して、表示器1からの表示像を、反射板4へ
導光するためのルーバ型フイルタ7を具備せしめ
ていることから、表示器1からの表示像の一部が
前面カバー6の内側面で反射されることもなく、
従つて、その表示装置の観者は、表示器1から発
して反射板4に反射された表示像のみが目視さ
れ、これにより鮮明な表示像が目視できる効果が
ある。また本考案の前面カバー6は平板であつて
も無反射性であることから、従来の曲面カバー使
用の表示装置に比して設計の自由度が広がり、製
品コストの経済的効果もある。
