圧延機で圧延し、巻取機でふたたびコイル状に巻
き取る際の被圧延材の張力をテンシヨンメータで
検出し、その張力を所定値になるように前記巻戻
機および巻取機の駆動モータの回転数を制御する
張力制御装置において、前記巻戻機および巻取機
でのコイルの外径を測定するコイル外径測定器と
、その測定結果に基づきコイル偏心量を演算する
偏心量演算器と、前記巻戻機および巻取機の回転
位置を検出する回転数検出器と、前記偏心量演算
器からのコイル偏心量信号と前記回転数検出器か
らの回転位置信号とから補正信号と補正タイミン
グとを決定し、その補正タイミングに応じてモー
タ速度制御装置への電流指令値を補正する補正演
算器とを設けるようにしたことを特徴とする張力
