BACKGROUND ART A known window stay is one in which one end of a shoji mounting plate is rotatably connected to one end of a base that is attached to a window frame. In order to improve the airtightness of the window, it is preferable that when the shoji is closed, the end (base end) on the side connected to the base comes into pressure contact with the window frame. However, in conventional window stays, the shoji mounting plate is simply rotatably connected to the base, so if you try to press the base end against the window frame when the shoji is closed, the base end will come into contact with the window frame. When opening and closing the shoji, it rubs strongly against the window frame, making it difficult to open and close smoothly and causing a lot of wear and tear. Furthermore, if you try to open and close the shoji smoothly, it becomes impossible to press the base end against the window frame when the shoji is closed.

この考案の目的は、上記の問題を解決し、障子

The purpose of this invention is to solve the above problems and provide a window stay whose base end can be brought into pressure contact with the window frame when the shoji is closed, which can be opened and closed smoothly and has little wear and tear.

Means for solving the problem The window stay according to this invention includes a base to be attached to the window frame, a shoji mounting plate to which the shoji is attached,
A slider attached to a portion near one end of the base so as to be slidable in its length direction, a first arm whose both ends are rotatably connected to a portion near the other end of the base and a shoji mounting plate, and a shoji mounting plate. It consists of one end of the plate and a second arm whose both ends are rotatably connected to the slider, and a guide groove extending in the length direction is provided in the slider mounting part of the base, so that it can be easily attached to the side wall of one side of the guide groove. A gear is provided at the connecting portion of the slider and the second arm so as to be able to rotate together with the second arm, the gear meshing easily with the guide groove.

The shoji mounting plate 11, the two arms 15, 18, and the connecting pins 13, 14, 16 are also made of stainless steel, for example. The first arm 15 is connected to the upper surface of the base 10, and its middle portion is bent so that the shoji mounting plate 11 side is slightly higher. The shoji mounting plate 11 is connected to the upper surfaces of the two arms 15 and 18, and is bent so that the end on the second arm 18 side is slightly lower. Further, the shoji mounting plate 11 is also provided with a plurality of mounting holes 26 at appropriate locations. Note that washers 27 made of polyamide resin, for example, are sandwiched between the base 10 and the first arm 15, the first arm 15 and the shoji mounting plate 11, and the connection portions of the shoji mounting plate 11 and the second arm 18.

When the shoji is closed as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the gear 25 is on the left side of the groove 20, and the base end (left end) of the shoji is in pressure contact with the window frame. When the shoji is opened from this state, the second arm 18 rotates toward the outdoors as shown by arrow A, and the gear 25 also rotates in the same direction, so that it engages with the rack 21 and moves to the right. For this reason, the base end of the shoji, which was in pressure contact with the window frame, separates from the window frame, and the shoji opens smoothly. When the shoji is completely opened as shown in FIG. 1, the gear 25 moves to the right side of the groove 20. If you close the shoji in this situation, the second
Since the arm 18 rotates indoors as shown by arrow B, the gear 25 meshing with the rack 21 moves to the left while rotating in the same direction. When the shoji is completely closed as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the gear 25 moves to the left side of the groove 20,
As a result, the shoji also moves to the left, and its base end comes into pressure contact with the window frame.
