Generally, a small box cellophane packaging apparatus as shown in FIG. 6 is used for cellophane packaging of small boxes. In the figure, reference numeral 1a denotes a hopper that receives a plurality of boxes 1 to be packaged in parallel, and is adapted to intermittently feed the boxes 1 to be packaged into the cellophane cutter section 5 one after another. Reference numeral 3 is a cellophane for wrapping the packaged box 1, which is wound around a roll 3a, and by intermittent rotation of a drive roll (not shown),
One dimension of the packaged box 1 is sent out. Reference numeral 4 denotes an opening tape used when opening a cellophane packaged product, which is wound around a roll 4a and is designed to be sent out in close contact with the cellophane 3. The packaged box 1 sent out from the hopper 1a is placed inside the cellophane cutter section 5 by the action of a feeding mechanism (not shown), and the cellophane 3 hanging down from above.
The cellophane 3 comes into contact with the cellophane 3 at right angles and moves further forward, so that the front and back surfaces are covered with the cellophane 3, as shown in FIG. Then, while maintaining this state, the conveyance piece 6a (eighth
(see figure). During this press-fitting, the continuous side of the cellophane 3 is cut. Above turret 6
consists of a rotating shaft, a rotating disk concentrically attached to the rotating shaft, and conveying pieces 6a each having a U-shaped cross section attached to the outer periphery of the rotating disk at appropriate intervals. The packaged box 1 press-fitted into the piece 6a is intermittently conveyed to the tacking section 7. The temporary attachment part 7 has a pair of levers 7a, 7 which have long plate-like pieces 7a', 7b' for bending cellophane at their lower ends and are rotatably attached to a support shaft.
It is equipped with b. In normal conditions, the long plate-like pieces 7a' and 7b' of the levers 7a and 7b face each other with their inner edges keeping a considerable distance as shown in FIG. , 7b mutually swing inward, thereby moving inward and temporarily fixing the open end portions 3a, 3b of the cellophane 3. Long plate-like piece 7 of lever 7a
a' is equipped with a heater 9, and
A heat sealing edge 8 is formed. An edge 10 for bending the open end 3b of the cellophane 3 is formed on the long plate-like piece 7b', facing the heat-sealing edge 8. In Figure 6,
Reference numeral 11 denotes a lever for final attachment, which further performs heat sealing from above the open end portions 3a, 3b of the temporarily attached cellophane 3 to complete the seal.

To explain in more detail the operation of the tacking section 7, when the packaged box 1 with the cellophane 3 attached is conveyed by the conveying piece 6a as shown in FIG. 7b' moves in the direction of the other long plate-like piece 7a' and bends the open end 3b of the cellophane 3 protruding from the top of the packaged box 1. Next, the long plate-like piece 7 of the other lever 7a
a' moves in the direction of one lever 7b while bending the open end 3a of the cellophane 3. At this time, the long plate-like piece 7b' of one lever 7b moves backward in conjunction with the movement of the other lever 7a. During this retreat, the long plate-like piece 7b' slides over the open end 3b and maintains the bent state of the end 3b. The bent open end portions 3a overlap. Then, from this state, the long plate-like piece 7a' of the other lever 7a further moves in the direction of the lever 7b, and is positioned above the entire overlapping part of the open side ends 3b and 3a, and the open side end is heated by the heating action of the heater 9. Parts 3b and 3a are heat-sealed and temporarily attached. Thereafter, the lever 7b returns to its initial state together with the long plate-like piece 7b' of the lever 7b.

In the cellophane packaging device for small boxes described above, first, the long plate-like piece 7b' of one lever 7b moves to bend the open end 3b of the cellophane 3, and then the long plate-like piece 7a' of the lever 7a moves. The open side end 3a of the cellophane 3 is folded into the bent open side end 3.
It is designed to be stacked on top of b, and the long plate-like piece 7
During the operation a', the long plate-like piece 7b' slides over the bent open end 3b and retreats while maintaining the bent state of the end 3b. In this case, if the thickness of the packaged box 1 is 8 mm or more, the temporary fixing is completed completely, but if the thickness of the packaged box 1 is less than 8 mm, the open side edge of the cellophane 3, which is the bending allowance, As the dimensions of portions 3b and 3a become smaller,
Since the dimension of the side surface of the packaged box 1 that the long plate-like pieces 7b' and 7a' come into contact with becomes smaller, when temporarily fixing the cellophane 3, the open end 3b of the cellophane 3 is bent and the other open end is placed on top of it. When I folded and stacked 3a, they did not overlap properly. That is, when folding the open side end 3b and stacking the open side end 3a on top of it,
The long plate-like piece 7b' of the lever 7b slides over the end 3b and retreats, but if the dimensions of the open end 3b of the cellophane 3 and the side surface of the packaged box 1 are small, the long plate-like piece 7b' slides on the end 3b and retreats. The holding by piece 7b' did not work well,
Even if the long plate-like piece 7b' retreats a little, the open end 3b will stand up due to its own elasticity. Therefore, even if an attempt is made to overlap the open side end portion 3a on top of the open end portion 3a, the problem arises that the opening end portion 3a cannot be overlapped properly and only an insufficient temporary fixation can be achieved.

FIG. 1 shows a temporary attachment part which is a main part of an embodiment of this invention. That is, in the small box packaging apparatus of this embodiment, the opposing end edges of the long plate-like piece 13 of the lever 7a and the long plate-like piece 14 of the lever 7b are formed into comb-teeth shapes that engage with each other. At the same time, the comb teeth portions 20 of the long plate-like pieces 14 are formed thin, and the comb teeth portions 16, 20 of the long plate-like pieces 13, 14 are formed thin.
The levers 7a and 7b are controlled so that the levers 7a and 7b move after engaging on the side surface of the box 1 to be packaged. To explain the levers 7a and 7b in more detail,
The lever 7a has a drive section 2 at its end as shown in FIG.
1, and is designed to swing left and right around a support shaft 22. The lever 7b is provided with a drive section 24 in the middle, and is configured to swing left and right around a support shaft 23 at the end. 25, 25'
are a pair of bell cranks attached to the shaft 25a, each having a cam follower 26, 2 at one end.
6', and a drive section 27 at the other end,
27', which swings left and right by the rotation of cams 29, 29', and drives levers 7a, 7b via drive parts 27, 27' and drive levers 28, 28'. Since the other parts are substantially the same as the apparatus shown in FIG. 6, the same parts are given the same reference numerals and repeated explanation will be omitted.

In this configuration, the packaged box 1 with cellophane attached is conveyed to the temporary fixing section 7, and the open side ends 3a and 3b of the cellophane 3 are temporarily fixed in the following manner. That is, at the stage when the packaged box 1 is transported, the drive cams 29, 29' are in the state shown in FIG. 2, and the levers 7a, 7b are also in the state of being fully retracted as shown in the figure. . next,
From this state, when the drive cams 29, 29' rotate as shown in FIG.
5' swings counterclockwise around the shaft 25a, and the drive levers 28, 28' are lowered. At this time, since the lever 7b is provided with the cam 29' being angularly displaced relative to the cam 29, the lever 7b moves earlier and more greatly than the lever 7a when the drive lever 28' is lowered. Therefore, the drive cam 29,2
When the lever 9' rotates from the state shown in FIG. 2 to the state shown in FIG. 3, the long plate-like piece 14 of the lever 7b moves in the direction of arrow a from the state shown in FIG. Fold it along the side surface of the box 1 to be packaged. Next, the long plate-like piece 13 of the lever 7a
moves in the direction of arrow b from the state shown in FIG. 1, and the open end 3a of the cellophane 3 is placed over the open end 3b that has been bent previously. At this time, the open side end 3a is the open side end 3b of the cellophane 3.
It not only overlaps with the comb teeth portion 20 of the elongated plate-like piece 14, but also overlaps the comb tooth portion 20 of the long plate-like piece 14. This state is shown in FIGS. 4 and 5. In the state shown in Figs. 4 and 5, the long plate-like piece 1
The comb tooth portions 16 and 20 of No. 3 and No. 14 are engaged with each other. When the drive cam 29' further rotates from this state, the drive lever 28' is pushed up and raised, the lever 7b retreats, and the long plate-like piece 14 retreats. As a result, the comb tooth portion 2 of the long plate-like piece 14
0 tooth 20a slips out from under the open end 3a (see FIG. 5) of the cellophane 3 superimposed thereon. As the tooth 20a comes out, the open end 3a of the cellophane 3 returns to its flat shape due to its own elasticity. The drive cam 29 is a cam 29'
However, since the cam 29' is angularly displaced relative to the cam 29', when the cam 29' is pushing up the drive lever 28', the drive lever 28 is still being lowered, and the lever is 7a
continues to move forward. Therefore, the long plate-like piece 13 of the lever 7a moves forward in conjunction with the retreat of the long plate-like piece 14, and the open end 3a of the cellophane 3, which has returned to its flat shape, is moved by the heater 9. The open end portion 3b is temporarily fixed by thermocompression bonding.

[Effects of the invention] As described above, this invention focuses on a pair of folding pieces for folding both ends of cellophane overlay along the box surface of a small box, and folds the opposing edges to each other. Because the comb teeth are formed so that they can mesh with each other, when one of the pair of bending pieces bends one end of the overlap substitute, and the other folds the other end of the overlap substitute over it, the tip The folded end of the overlapping portion is now held in place by the comb teeth of one of the folding pieces. Therefore, even if the end of the overlap substitute is small and easy to stand up, the end of the overlap substitute that was folded earlier during the above-mentioned folding will not stand up due to its own elasticity. .
Therefore, even if the box to be packaged is extremely thin with a box thickness of 10 mm or less and the end portion of the cellophane overlapping portion is small in size, stable temporary attachment of the cellophane can be realized.
