This type of drilling device, in which an electric drill is mounted downward on a drill stand with an electromagnetic attraction base, and the drill stand is magnetically attracted to the workpiece to perform drilling, has excellent workability as it can be used in high places such as bridge construction. It is widely known for being portable, easy to position, and capable of highly accurate drilling. This drilling device uses cutting oil to cool the cutting edge during drilling work, but no design has been made to the oil tank that stores this oil, and it protrudes outward from a part of the drill stand. It was in the condition I was told it was set up.

As mentioned above, in conventional drilling equipment, the oil tank is installed in a state that protrudes from the side of the drill stand, so the oil tank can get in the way of drilling work in narrow spaces or collide with surrounding objects. There was a problem that it would break when it was used. The present invention is an attempt to solve the problems that conventional drilling devices had.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the drilling device of the present invention forms a downward stepped part at the top of a drill stand on which a drill with a drilling tool attached facing downward can be raised and lowered, and also has a drill stand that protrudes upward. An oil tank for storing cutting oil is removably fitted into the stepped portion, and the oil tank is attached to the stepped portion along the outer peripheral side shape of the drill stand. It has a shape that allows it to fill up the area, and has a height that allows it to be in a non-protruding state relative to the upper end of the carrying handle.

In the drilling device of the present invention, the oil tank installed at the top does not protrude from the outer peripheral side of the drill stand, so the oil tank does not get in the way when drilling in narrow places or when carrying it around. Even if the oil tank is accidentally knocked over, the oil tank is protected from the impact load caused by the fall.

FIG. 1 shows one embodiment of the present invention, in which this drilling device is fixed to a desired position of a magnetic workpiece 1 such as steel material by electromagnetic attraction at the lower part of a drill stand 4. The electric drill 3 has an electromagnetic attraction base 2, and an electric drill 3 is supported in front of a drill stand 4 located on the electromagnetic attraction base 2 so as to be movable up and down. Note that the electromagnetic attraction base 2 can be changed to a so-called vice-type clamping device having a pair of left and right clamping plates whose distance can be changed relative to each other.

The oil tank 14 is provided at the upper end of the drill stand 4 with its front part in contact with a transportation handle 20 fixed upright on the upper end of the drill stand 4, and the shape of its outer peripheral side surface is shown in FIG. As is clear from the above, the drill stand 4 is formed in a shape that roughly follows the shape of the outer circumferential side surface of the upper end of the drill stand 4 and the outer shape of the automatic feed unit 11, etc., located near the upper end of the drill stand 4, and is attached to the drill stand 4. In this state, it has an external shape as if it were an extended part of the drill stand 4. Therefore, since the outer circumferential side surface of the oil tank 14 is provided in a state that almost does not protrude from the upper end or outer circumferential side surface of the drill stand 4, if the drilling device accidentally falls over or is being carried, only the oil tank 14 will be exposed to the floor or around the surroundings. The oil tank 14 can be protected from impact loads when it falls over by the strong carrying handle 20 which is fixed upright above the oil tank 14 without hitting anything. In particular, if the carrying handle 20 is arranged near a vertical line passing through the center of gravity of the drilling device, when carrying the drilling device by holding the carrying handle 20, the drilling device will not tilt into an unstable state. Therefore, the drilling device can be operated in an upright position, and the oil tank 14 can also be protected. The rod 31 that projects horizontally from the front of the electric drill is a grip used to move the drilling device to a desired drilling position on the workpiece, and is used together with the carrying handle 20 to carry the drilling device. is also used.

Furthermore, as a means for attaching the oil tank 14 to the upper end of the drill stand 4, it is also possible to employ means for fixing the oil tank 14 at a plurality of locations to the side surface of the drill stand 4 with screws.
As shown in the figure, the front side of the oil tank 14 is attached to a triangular inclined protrusion 21 formed on the abutment surface of the drill stand 4 that abuts the front lower corner of the oil tank 14 at the center in the left and right direction. A hook 2 is fitted into a recess 22 at the lower corner and has a notch 24 facing downward that can be engaged with a screw 23 screwed onto the rear side of the drill stand 4 as shown in FIG.
5 and tightening the screw 23, it can also be fixed to the drill stand 4 with the head of the screw. According to such means, the oil tank 14 can be fixed to the upper part of the drill stand 4 by simply tightening one screw 23. Also, the fourth
As shown in the figure, a pair of roughly L-shaped elastic legs 26 are formed along both edges of the bottom surface of the oil tank 14.
When the oil tank 14 is attached to the drill stand 4 by fitting from above into the long grooves 27 bored along both edges of the upper end of the drill stand 4, the attachment/detachment operation can be performed with a single touch. Furthermore, as a means for attaching and detaching the oil tank 14 to the drill stand 4 with one touch, as shown in FIG. Vertical divisions 29 are formed, and gaps between the cross vertical divisions 29 allow each piece constituting the protrusion 28 to be elastically deformed inwardly, while a through hole 30 into which the protrusion 28 can be fitted is drilled. A plurality of them may be provided on the upper surface of the stand 4, and both the glans protrusion 28 and the through hole 30 may constitute an attachment/detachment means.

An oil tank is removably fitted into a downward step formed at the top of the drill stand, and the oil tank has a shape that can fill the step along the outer peripheral side shape of the drill stand,
In addition, since the height is such that the upper end of the carrying handle that protrudes from the top of the drill stand does not protrude, the drill stand and the carrying handle themselves have a protective function for the oil tank. This prevents the oil tank from being hit by any surrounding objects, not only when the drilling device is accidentally overturned, but also when it is being carried around. Therefore, it is possible to use an oil tank made of polyethylene resin, which is lightweight and inexpensive even though it has relatively low strength. Moreover, since the oil tank protrudes to the side when performing drilling work in a narrow space, it does not get in the way and improves work efficiency.

Furthermore, compared to a drill stand where the oil tank is integrally formed with the casing, manufacturing costs can be reduced, and replacement of the oil tank due to damage does not affect the replacement or disassembly of the entire drill stand. It can be done easily.
