[Technical background of the invention] This type of dryer uses the rotation of a double-winged fan in a heat exchanger to suck exhaust air from inside the drum, which is a drying chamber inside the outer box, with one wing and direct it to the other wing. There is a device in which air is sucked in from outside the machine and passed through the unit, thereby exchanging heat between the exhaust air and the outside air, and dehumidifying the hot and humid exhaust air.

On the other hand, when installing an electronic unit for operation control in a dryer with such a configuration, an opening is provided inside the outer box on the outside air circulation side of the heat exchanger, and the electronic unit is installed near the opening. It is conceivable that the electronic unit is cooled by a portion of the outside air leaking into the outer box from the opening.

[Problems with the Background Art] However, in the above-mentioned method, cooling of the electronic unit by outside air becomes uncertain, and heat dissipation fins such as switching elements (triacs) and power transistors, which require heat dissipation among the electronic components in the electronic unit, are uncertain. It is predicted that a problem will occur that will require a larger value. Also, it is preferable to install the electronic unit near the operation panel in consideration of wiring, etc. However, if you try to install the electronic unit near the operation panel in this way, the electronic unit will be separated from the heat exchanger. However, there is a problem in that the cooling of the electronic unit becomes even more insufficient.

[Purpose of the invention] The present invention was made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to provide a system that allows the electronic unit to be reliably and sufficiently cooled even though the electronic unit is installed near the operation panel. It is an object of the present invention to provide a dryer in which heat dissipation fins such as switching elements (triacs) and power transistors can be made small.

Next, the operation of the above configuration will be explained. During drying operation, the drum belt 23 is driven by the motor 21.
The drum 4 is rotated via the fan belt 24, and the double-wing fan 12 is rotated via the fan belt 24. As the double-wing fan 12 rotates, the air in the drying chamber 5 is pumped through the exhaust port 16 and the vent 15 into the exhaust circulation chamber by the centrifugal blowing action of the front wing piece 12a.
The air is sucked into the drying chamber 5 through a duct (not shown), is hot-aired by a heater in this duct, and is returned to the drying chamber 5.
Due to the centrifugal blowing action of b, outside air is sucked into the outside air circulation chamber 13b from outside the machine through the outside air suction hole 19,
Then, the outside air is discharged to the outside of the machine from the outside air exhaust hole 20. At this time, the air in the drying chamber 5, which has been hot-aired by the heater, removes the moisture from the material to be dried, and then is sucked into the exhaust gas distribution chamber 13a as exhaust air, and in the process of flowing through the exhaust gas distribution chamber 13a. The heat exchanges heat with the outside air in the outside air circulation chamber 13b by heat conduction through the double-wing fan 12, cools and dehumidifies the air, and then heats the air again and supplies the air into the drying chamber 5, thus circulating.

By the way, a part of the outside air sucked into the outside air circulation chamber 13b is discharged from the outside air circulation chamber 13b to the hose 31 side via the hose connection port 17, and the outside air is passed through the hose 31 to the hose connection port of the electronic unit 25. 29 into the case 26, and is discharged into the outer box 1 from the ventilation hole 30 through the case 26. At this time, the electronic components inside the case 26 are cooled by the outside air.

According to this embodiment, the electronic unit 25
Although it is provided integrally with the operation panel 27, the outside air circulation chamber 1 of the heat exchanger 11 equipped with the double-wing fans 12
A hose 31 is connected between the outside air discharge side at 3b and the electronic unit 25, and a part of the outside air flowing through the outside air circulation chamber 13b for cooling and dehumidification is guided into the electronic unit 25 through the hose 31. Since the external air is allowed to pass through, the electronic components inside the electronic unit 25 can be actively and reliably and sufficiently cooled, and therefore, the electronic components that require heat dissipation, such as switching elements (triacs) and power transistors, can be cooled down. The heat dissipation fins can be made smaller. Moreover, in this case, since the electronic unit 25 is cooled by utilizing the air blowing action of the double-winged fan 12 in the heat exchanger 11, there is no need to separately provide a dedicated fan for cooling the electronic unit 25. In particular, according to this embodiment, since the electronic unit 25 is located at the front of the outer box 1 and integrated with the operation panel 27, a lead wire connecting the electronic unit 25 and the operation panel 27 can be eliminated. There are advantages.

[Effects of the invention] As is clear from the above description, the present invention uses outside air for dehumidification on the outside air discharge side of the heat exchanger equipped with double-winged fans, even though the electronic unit is installed near the operation panel. Since the configuration is such that a hose leading part of it to the electronic unit is connected, the electronic unit can be actively and reliably and sufficiently cooled by the outside air without the need for a dedicated fan, and the switching element (triacting element) of the electronic component can be ), power transistors, etc., have the excellent effect of making heat dissipation fins smaller.
