Detailed Description of the Invention (Industrial Application Field) The present invention relates to an assembly structure of a vehicle seat such as an automobile seat, and more particularly, the present invention has a protruding side cushion portion on the left and right sides of a main cushion portion (bucket-shaped side cushion portion). This invention relates to an assembly structure for a skin member that forms the surface of a vehicle seat.

(Prior Art) Conventional vehicle seats, especially bucket-shaped seat bags for automobiles, have a main cushion made of foam;
It has a structure in which a cushion member consisting of raised side cushions integrally molded on the left and right sides is placed against a seat frame stretched with spring material, and these are covered with a skin member sewn into a bag shape. The skin member is fixed to the surface of the bucket-shaped cushion member with clips along the boundary between the main cushion and the side cushion, or the skin member is attached along the boundary line between the main cushion and the side cushion. A string-like hanging member was sewn to the back side, and this hanging member was hung in the longitudinal direction (vertical direction).

Therefore, in the former case, it is difficult to fix the skin member in a straight line along the boundary line between the main cushion and the side cushion, and the skin member may meander, and in the latter case, the skin member is attached to the bucket-shaped cushion member. Since the hanging member must be manually pulled in its longitudinal direction (vertical direction) so as to come into close contact with the surface, there is a drawback that the workability of assembling the skin member is extremely poor.

Therefore, there is a method disclosed in Japanese Unexamined Utility Model Publication No. 166800/1983 as a method for eliminating the above-mentioned defects. In this method, the skin member is separated in the longitudinal direction, and an engaging tool is provided at the end of the separated part to connect the separated part.
The structure is such that after the cushion member is covered with this engagement tool, the separation part is joined together. Therefore, according to this structure, it is easy to assemble the skin member, but since the skin member is not fixed to the cushion member, the skin member cannot be in close contact with the surface of the bucket-shaped cushion member, and the skin member cannot be attached to the specified surface. A problem arises in that it cannot be assembled to the external shape.

(Structure) The present invention has a cushion member formed separately into a main cushion part and a side cushion part, and an insertion piece extending along the side cushion side at the lower part of the main cushion part. This insertion piece was inserted into the insertion groove provided on the side of the main cushion part of the side cushion part, or between the side cushion and the support member on which this side cushion was placed, to fix the main cushion part. The main cushion part and the side cushion part are composed of a cushion member made of foam and a skin covering the surface of the cushion member, and the insertion piece of the main cushion part is inserted into the end of the skin. It is a band-shaped synthetic resin plate that is fixed by sewing or the like and has a predetermined rigidity.

In this way, the insertion piece of the main cushion part formed separately from the side cushion part is inserted into the side cushion part, or by being held between the side cushion part and the support member. Because it is fixed, assembly work efficiency is improved compared to conventional products.
Further, since the skin member can be attached to the main cushion portion and the side cushion portion respectively before the main cushion portion is assembled, there is no need to form the skin member into a bag shape as in conventional products. Therefore, the skin member can be accurately and easily assembled to each cushion member.

Since the bottom of the seat cushion B does not need to be covered with a skin member b', the end of the skin member b' can be tied to the seat frame 23 or the like with a hogging ring as in conventional products, or as shown in FIG. As shown, a trim fastener 26 having a substantially hook-shaped cross section is sewn to the end of the skin member b' to fix the cushion material 13 of the side cushion part R'. and,
The main cushion part i′ in this skin member b′
The end of the main cushion portion A' is sewn integrally with the insertion piece 1a of the main cushion portion A' which is inserted into the insertion groove 13a. Therefore, in the seat cushion B, the insertion piece 1a of the main cushion part A' is inserted in advance.
After sewing the skin member b' of the side cushion part R' to the side cushion part R' and inserting the insertion piece 1a into the insertion groove 13a of the cushion material 13,
The end of the skin member b' is attached to the seat frame 2 as described above.

(Effects) According to the present invention, since the main cushion portion and the raised side cushion portions are independent in the left and right direction, a deep groove is formed at the boundary between the two, and the deep groove has a deep suspension. It becomes an accent to the crowd style and improves the appearance of the seat. Moreover, the main cushion part is fixed by sandwiching the insertion piece provided on the side cushion part side between the side cushion part and the support member, or by inserting it into the side cushion part. The skin member is fixed without meandering like a good product, and the appearance of the seat is further improved.
