When conventionally painted paints are removed using alkaline chemicals, if these chemicals come into contact with window glass, it can cause damage or other problems. In order to prevent this, a masking sheet formed to correspond to a window glass with an adhesive layer on one side of an aluminum thin film is attached to the corresponding window glass. This adhesion is achieved by rubbing the top surface of the masking sheet, especially the peripheral area, under strong pressure to ensure complete adhesion, to prevent the adhesive surface of the masking sheet or the chemical solution from leaking onto the glass surface. The aluminum sheet on the surface of this masking sheet is thin so that it conforms to the surface and is easy to apply, so if you rub it with strong pressure as described above, the aluminum sheet may crack or break. If the masking sheet is used as is, the chemical solution will enter and damage the window glass, so if the masking sheet is damaged in this way and there is a risk of the chemical solution entering, the masking sheet must be replaced with a new one. There were some shortcomings. In addition, when cutting lines are made on the release paper so that a part of the release paper can be peeled off, the corrosion-resistant sheet may be damaged in the area corresponding to the cut line, and if the corrosion-resistant sheet is thin as described above, it should not be handled. This may cause cracks or other tears inside the container, creating a risk of chemical liquid intrusion.

This proposal was made in view of the shortcomings mentioned above.
A piece of appropriate width and thickness is fixed and reinforced on the area of the peripheral area of the masking sheet that requires close contact, that is, the area on the surface that is strongly pressed, and the masking sheet maintains its adaptability to the surface to which it is attached. The purpose of this invention is to provide a product that does not cause damage or other problems even when pressed by strong rubbing.

The present invention will be described below with reference to an example. A corrosion-resistant sheet 1 formed according to the shape of a masking part has an adhesive layer 2 on the back side, and a release paper 3 is attached to the adhesive layer. There is. The corrosion-resistant sheet 1 may be made of aluminum, copper, rust-proof steel or other metal sheet, polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride, fluororesin, or a suitably flexible and thick sheet that can relatively easily adapt to the application surface. It is formed of a plastic sheet such as rubber, synthetic rubber, or the like, and a contact piece 4 made of the same or different material as the sheet 1 is fixed to the sheet 1 in an approximately annular shape by adhesion, welding, etc. in appropriate sections of the peripheral edge 1a of the sheet. ing. In addition to the above-mentioned corrosion-resistant sheet constituent materials, foamed plastic and the like can also be used as the material. The above-mentioned material 4 is fixed to a required width with its side edge 4a along the peripheral edge 1a of the corrosion-resistant sheet (Fig. 3) or with the side edge 4a leaving an appropriate distance from the peripheral edge 1a of the corrosion-resistant sheet. can. In the latter case, the edge zone of the corrosion-resistant sheet exists on the outside of the fixed annular contact piece, which may make the application process easier depending on the surface to which the masking sheet is applied. Depending on the material, the above-mentioned material may not be annular but may be in the form of a plate extending over the entire surface of one side of the corrosion-resistant sheet 1, leaving an appropriate interval from the peripheral edge 1a, or may be annular. In the case of forming it, it can be formed by joining strip-shaped pieces as shown in the figure, or it can be formed by punching it into an annular shape.

The thickness of the corrosion-resistant sheet 1 is appropriately selected depending on the material, size, etc., but for example, in the case of an aluminum sheet, it is preferably about 40 to 120 μm.
In many cases, the thickness of the piece may be approximately the same as that of the corrosion-resistant sheet.

The release paper 3 with the adhesive layer 2 formed on one side of the above-mentioned corrosion-resistant sheet 1 is provided with a cut line 6 that can be peeled off by cutting a required width of the peripheral edge section of the release paper 3. Part 3a can be easily peeled off and applied to the desired area. The width of the part of the release paper 3a that is peeled off along the cut line 6 allows the masking sheet to be stably held on the application area by the adhesive layer exposed by peeling, and the chemical solution can be removed from the adhesive part (surface). The masking is formed to such an extent that paint etc. will not penetrate into the masking. When the cut line 6 is provided in this manner, it is desirable that the contact piece 4 is fixed to the corrosion-resistant sheet by sandwiching the area corresponding to the cut line.

The release paper 3 is also provided with a tongue piece 5 that extends outward from the periphery of the corrosion-resistant sheet, and is used as a tab for peeling off the release paper 3 or the outer separation paper 3a that is separated and peeled off at the cut line 6. This makes peeling even easier. In this case, the tongue is provided with a dividing line 7 extending from its tip edge to the cutting line 6, and the release paper 3a can be peeled off by dividing the tongue and grasping one of the parts. The release paper inside the cut line 6 can be peeled off if necessary.

The present invention has the above-mentioned structure, and since the anti-corrosion sheet is provided with an annular contact piece at the required part of the corrosion-resistant sheet, if the anti-corrosion sheet is rubbed with strong pressure, the corrosion-resistant sheet will not be damaged and the masking sheet will be The corrosion-resistant sheet itself has good adaptability to the surface to which it is attached, and there is no possibility of inconveniences such as cleaning chemicals, etc. infiltrating from the adhesive part and damaging or contaminating the glass etc. Furthermore, since the release paper has tongues and cut lines, the adhesive layer necessary for adhesion is easily exposed, allowing for stable adhesion. It does not contaminate the paint and can be used for masking window glass when old paint is peeled off by chemicals when repainting aircraft, automobiles, and other vehicles, and for masking during other general painting.
