Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a harmful electromagnetic wave to be blocked and a human body to be protected by providing a shielding means consisting of an electromagnetic wave shielding cloth and an engagement means. CONSTITUTION:A shielding member 1 consists of an electromagnetic wave shielding cloth which blocks an electromagnetic wave of a wavelength band of, for example, 1KHz-1THz and has a sufficient area for protecting a specific site. This electromagnetic wave shielding cloth consists of a non-woven fiber cloth which is coated with silver by electroless plating. Also, a joining; tape 2 made of a synthetic resin is applied to the shielding member 1. When using it, it is joined to a joining tape made of the synthetic resin which is applied to a position opposing the joining tape 2 made of the synthetic resin of the shielding member 1 on a front surface to be coated, thus enabling a human body to be protected. When suspending its use, both joining tapes are released by hands, thus enabling the human body to be protected by blocking a harmful electromagnetic wave.

2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, the so-called OA and FA have progressed in offices and factories, and various electronic devices have come into wide use. Some of these electronic devices emit weak electromagnetic waves, and some electromagnetic waves with long wavelengths of 10 kHz to 300 GHz have an adverse effect on the human body. "Radio Wave Protection Guidelines" (Telecommunications Technology Council Report, Consultation No. 38)
As shown in the Guidelines for the Protection of the Human Body When Using Radio Waves (June 1990), which provides protection methods to reduce the strength of the electromagnetic field irradiated to the human body, electronic devices are generally manufactured with consideration given to their effects on the human body. The amount of radiation to the human body is not large because the electromagnetic waves are manufactured and used, but if you continue to work near electronic devices that emit electromagnetic waves continuously for a long time every day, the amount of radiation to the human body will be further reduced. It is desirable to

1 per electromagnetic shield cover of this embodiment
When the electromagnetic shielding effect was measured in the wavelength band of kHz to 1 THz, a dB value of 50 dB was obtained, revealing a large electromagnetic shielding effect. Measurement was performed using the Advantest method. That is, a sample was installed between a transmitting probe antenna and a receiving probe antenna in a shield box, and the attenuation rate (dB) was determined from the intensity ratio of the transmitted electromagnetic wave and the received electromagnetic wave. The measurement frequency is 1kHz
The measurement was performed by continuously changing the frequency between 1 THz and 1 THz. The values of the attenuation rate (dB) mentioned above are 1kHz, 1MHz, 1GH
It is the average value of the attenuation rate (dB) at four points of z and 1 THz. The same electromagnetic shielding fabric was used in the following examples, and the same attenuation rate (dB) was obtained.
