Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable easily installing an indoor unit without bumping it against the ceiling, even where a wall hanging means is positioned close to the ceiling, by forming in the wall hanging means fixed to the indoor wall a guide piece which directs a fastening part to a catch. CONSTITUTION:A guide part 2 comprising an L-shaped hook 2a forming a rising step and a downwardly inclined guide piece 2b formed at the edge of the L-shaped hook is projected at both lateral sides from the upper end of a wall hanging plate 1. By pushing an indoor unit 5, while it is lifted, against the front of the wall hanging plate 1 on the indoor wall 14 a hooked downward end, functioning as a fastening claw, of a fastening part 6 provided at the top end on the rear of the indoor unit 5 is first mounted on the inclined plane of the downwardly inclined guide piece 2b of each of the guide parts 2 at both lateral sides of the wall hanging plate 1, and them mounted on the top level which forms the base 2c of the inclined guide piece 2b. <Prior Art> As shown in Fig. 5, the conventional installation device for an indoor unit of a separate type air conditioner has a structure in which the rear upper end of the indoor unit A is hung on the upper end of a wall hanging plate B that is fixed to the indoor wall surface. In addition, in order to maximize the heating and cooling effect, this indoor unit A is installed close to the ceiling enclosure C (see, for example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 58-38889).

Therefore, even if the installation device (wall hanging board) is installed close to the ceiling, the indoor unit can be easily installed without hitting the ceiling surface.

In an installation device for an indoor unit of a separate type air conditioner, the wall hanging member is fixed to an indoor wall and has a locking part on which the mounting part of the indoor unit of the separated air conditioner is latched.
