Description
【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は、筐体のマスキング装置に関する。
従来、筐体のマスクは、塗料の被塗装部に治具
をはめたり、テープを貼ことにより行なわれてい
る。しかしながら、この手段では筐体の数が多い
ため、多くの時間がかかる。また、筐体ごとに治
具を取り替える必要があるため作業が煩雑になる
問題がある。また、マスキングを完全にすること
ができないため、不良製品が発生する。
本考案は、かかる点に鑑みてなされたものであ
り、常に完全なマスキングをして品質の高い筐体
塗装を容易に行ない、作業性の向上を達成した筐
体のマスキング装置を提供するものである。
以下、本考案の一実施例について図面を参照し
て説明する。第1図は、実施例の装置の外観を示
す斜視図であり、第2図は、同実施例の縦断断面
図である。図中1は、中空で上部の開いた装置本
体である。装置本体の所定の部分には、空気注入
用パイプ2が備わつており、空気注入用パイプ2
を介してコンプレツサへ連絡している。空気注入
用パイプ2にはコツク3が取付けられており、注
入空気量の調節、排気、注入停止等の操作ができ
るようになつている。装置本体1の上部の周壁面
にはフイルム4の挿入口5が開口されている。挿
入口5には、装置本体1を貫通するようにしてフ
イルム4が挿入されている。フイルム4は、種々
の形状の筐体に密着できるように伸縮性に富だ材
質で形成されていると共に、塗料中の溶剤によつ
て劣化しないように耐溶剤性に優れた材質で形成
されている。フイルム4の両端部は、ロール6を
介してフイルムロール7に巻取られている。挿入
口5に近傍にはフイルム4を固定するためのゴム
パツキン8,8が取付けられている。挿入口5の
上方の周壁部には、被塗装体である筐体を固定す
るためのストツパー9が取付けられている。
このように構成された筐体のマスキング装置2
0によれば、装置本体1内に被塗装体である筐体
21を非塗装面がフイルム4に接触するように挿
入する。筐体21の設置は、フイルム4が適度に
伸張するように所定位置かで押さげてからストツ
パー9で固定することにより行なう。筐体21を
設置した後、フイルム4をゴムパツキン8,8で
固定する。次いで、コツク3を開放し、空気注入
用パイプ2から所定量の空気を供給してフイルム
4と筐体21とを密着させる。この時の空気によ
る押圧によつてフイルム4は筐体21細孔等に密
着する。このように空気注入用パイプ2からの空
気の供給量を調節してフイルム4によるマスキン
グが確実に行なうことができる。然る後、装置本
体1の開口部からの所定の塗料の吹付け等を行い
筐体21に塗料を完了する。
このようにこの筐体のマスキング装置20によ
れば、空気の押圧力によつてフイルム4を筐体2
1に密着させるので、種々の形状の筐体21に完
全なマスキングを行い、高品質の塗料を容易に行
うことができる。また、消耗品は、少量のフイル
ム4だけであるので製造コストを低減させること
ができる。また、調整操作は、フイルム4の設定
と筐体21の挿入でよいので、作業性を向上させ
ることができる。更に、装置の構造が簡単である
ので、自動化による連続運動を行うことができ
る。
以上説明した如く、本考案に係る筐体のマスキ
ング装置によれば、常に完全なマスキングをして
品質の高い筐体塗料を容易にしかも高い作業性の
