DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION Field of Industrial Application The present invention relates to an improvement in the intake structure of an air purifier. A signal is received from a dirt detection sensor that uses ultraviolet rays, gas, ultrasonic waves, etc. as a sensing medium to detect dirt such as dust and bad odors inside, and a microcomputer etc. changes the rotation speed of the fan etc. to control the air volume of the blower and start operation. Some had a means to automatically stop the machine.

This type of air purifier uses a microcomputer that starts operating the blower and increases the air volume when it determines that there is a lot of dirt in the air, and when it determines that there is little dirt, it reduces the air volume and eventually stops the blower. It was common to have control means based on On the other hand, with conventional air purifiers,
In order to take in the flow of air containing dust without diverting it to the rear of the main unit as shown in Figure 5, the air inlet is designed to have as large a projected area as possible and to widen the area that can be cleaned with one intake. The shape and position of the can be determined by providing it on the front side of the main body, or extending it to the side of the main body.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, according to the above configuration, in response to the recent demands in the market for improving the cleaning ability of equipment and making it quieter, there is a means for increasing the air volume of the blower as the amount of dirt increases, thereby improving the cleaning ability. Therefore, there was a problem that was contradictory to the problem of noise reduction, such as an increase in noise.

In the first means of the present invention, the air inlet cover is provided in the front of the main body so as to be openable and closable in the form of a door, and includes an opening/closing device that controls opening and closing of the air inlet cover in response to a signal from a dirt detection sensor. By doing this, when it is determined that there is a lot of dirt in the air, the blower is started and the intake locoper is opened like opening a door, and when it is judged that there is less dirt in the air, the door is closed. The air inlet cover is closed in front of the main unit, and the blower is stopped when it is determined that there is very little dirt, so by adjusting the air intake resistance, the amount of air processed for air purification can be changed. Opening the cover makes it smaller and allows you to increase the amount of air processed without increasing the noise. On the other hand, by opening the intake port cover like a door toward the front of the main unit, the projected area of the intake air can be reduced to the main body of the air purifier. Since it can be made larger easily, it is possible to prevent the flow of intake air containing dust from being diverted to the rear of the main body to the extent that it is determined that there is a lot of dirt, and the above problem can be solved comprehensively and rationally.

In addition, in the second means, the intake port cover is provided in the front of the main body in the form of a door so that it can be opened and closed freely, and an opening/closing device is provided that controls the opening and closing of the intake locoper in response to a signal from a timer. When the timer is turned on in the early stages when there is a lot of dirt inside, the blower is started and the intake port cover is opened as if the door were opened.When the timer is turned off, when it is presumed that there is less dirt in the air, the door is closed to draw air in. Since the mouth cover is closed in front of the main unit and the blower is stopped, the air purification process can be changed by adjusting the intake resistance.The resistance of the blower itself becomes smaller when the intake cover is opened, which increases the noise. On the other hand, by opening the intake port cover like a door toward the front of the main unit, the projected area of the intake air can be easily made larger than the main body of the air purifier, so it is judged that there is a lot of dirt. By expanding the intake port cover at the initial stage when the timer is turned on, the flow of intake air can be concentrated at the intake port, thereby comprehensively and rationally solving the above problem.

In the above configuration, basically, contaminated air and bad odors are sucked into the main body 1 from the intake port 2 by the air flow (arrow in the figure) generated by the operation of the blower 4, and the contaminated air and bad odors are physically removed by the main filter 3. Alternatively, when the dirt is electrostatically attracted, filtered and purified, and discharged from the exhaust lower to the outside of the main body 1 via the blower 4 (fan 5, electric motor 6), this intake locaper receives a signal from the dirt detection sensor 10. 2
When the microcomputer determines that there is a lot of dirt in the air, the opening/closing device 11 controls the opening and closing of the air blower 4. When the microcomputer determines that there is a lot of dirt in the air, it starts operating the blower 4 and opens the intake port cover 2 like opening a door, so that there is less dirt in the air. When it is determined that the amount of dirt has become extremely low, the air intake port 2 is closed in front of the main body 1 so as to close the door, and when it is determined that the amount of dirt has become extremely small, the operation of the blower 4 is stopped. Therefore, by opening and closing the intake port cover 2 and adjusting the intake resistance, the processing air volume for air purification can be changed.The intake resistance of the blower 4 itself is smaller as the intake port force .;-2 is opened. In other words, the processing air volume can be increased without significantly increasing noise.

On the other hand, at this time, when the intake locoper 8 is manually closed, the auxiliary filter 9 temporarily captures relatively coarse dust such as cotton dust, and then the fine-mesh main filter 3 captures the relatively coarse dust.
For example, it can filter and capture fine dust such as pollen and cigarette smoke. Moreover, as shown in Fig. 3, by opening the intake port cover 8, you can easily clean the auxiliary filter 9 without removing dust by attaching or detaching it, and you can also clean the auxiliary filter while it is attached to the main body 1. There is no inconvenience like losing the 9. Furthermore, as shown in Fig. 3, when the intake port cover 8 is opened, the filter mesh of the auxiliary filter 9 in particular is appropriately made fine to create a large ventilation resistance so that air can be introduced into the intake port 2 when the intake port cover 8 is opened. By doing so, the projected area range of the intake air can be integrally and easily increased to a greater extent than that of the main body 1.Next, FIG. 4 shows another embodiment, 13 is a timer,
In this implementation, an IC timer is used. Reference numeral 14 denotes a switching device using the timer 10 as a main control means;
The intake port cover 8 is opened and closed by the opening/closing motor 2.

In the above configuration, basically, contaminated air and bad odors are sucked into the main body 1 from the intake port 2 by the airflow generated by the operation of the blower 4, and the contaminated air and bad odors are physically or electrostatically adsorbed by the main filter 3. filtered and purified,
The pressure is exhausted to the outside of the main body 1 from the exhaust lower through the blower 4 (77 fan 6, electric motor 6). At this time, an opening/closing device 14 that receives a signal from a timer 13 and controls the opening/closing of this intake port cover 8 starts operating the blower 4 and opens the door when the timer is turned on when the user determines that there is a lot of dirt in the air. Open the intake locator 8 in this way, and close the intake locator 8 in front of the main body 1, as if closing the door when the timer turns off when there is less dirt in the air, and then open the air blower 4.
Stop operation. Therefore, when the timer is turned on, by widening the intake loop 8, the flow of intake air can be concentrated at the intake port 2, and the amount of air to be processed can be increased.
