A hydrophobic nonwoven fabric in which a given pattern of openings is arranged and formed is known. However, the apertures in this topsheet have a planar structure, and the lower surface of the skin contact area extending between each of the apertures directly contacts the upper surface of the absorbent core. Therefore, when body pressure is applied to the core that has absorbed body fluids, or when the core expands after absorbing body fluids and comes into pressure contact with the top sheet, body fluids flow from the core through the holes and onto the top surface of the top sheet. oozes out, making it impossible to fully achieve the intended purpose.

Those having a tube are known. This top sheet can achieve the purpose of reducing the contact area with the wearer's skin and the feeling of body fluid wetness on the skin, and relatively increasing the permeability of body fluids. However, when body pressure is applied to the core that has absorbed body fluids, or when the core expands after absorbing body fluids, it comes into pressure contact with the top sheet, which deforms the fluid conduit and causes a blockage. The ventilation provided by the liquid conduit is lost. As a result, stuffiness occurs between the top sheet and the wearer's skin, causing skin irritation, swelling, and itching that can cause skin diseases. Naturally, when the liquid conduction tube is blocked in this way, the liquid conduction tube loses its function, and the body fluid excreted on the top surface of the top sheet after the blockage cannot be introduced into the inside. Since the properties of the film itself are still completely maintained, it cannot be said that it feels as good to the touch as compared to cloth.

In this state of use, the upper surface of the surface sheet, through which body fluids are absorbed into the interior of the article through each liquid conduit, contacts the wearer's skin without sticking tightly, giving it a similar feel and creating a comfortable contact with the skin. Ventilation is allowed between the layers, and there is almost no obstruction to the skin's ability to breathe.

This ventilation can be achieved even if the fluid conduit is deformed or blocked by body pressure, if the skin contact area is also provided with ventilation, which will not be obstructed, the ventilation with the inside of the article will be maintained. It gets even better. On the other hand, if the skin contact area is made impermeable, body fluids will not seep out from the lower surface to the upper surface of the skin contact area under any pressure, even during skin contact.

This nonwoven fabric may have air permeability or impermeability. The most preferred of such nonwoven fabrics is one obtained by conventionally known means for producing melt-blown nonwoven fabrics. Depending on the basis weight and density of this nonwoven fabric, either air permeability or air impermeability can be imparted to the nonwoven fabric by means such as heat-pressing treatment after forming the nonwoven fabric. As for this non-woven fabric, 7 - For boat fishing, thermoplastic (hydrophobic) fibers such as olefin, polyester, nylon, and EVA fibers with a fineness of 0.01 to ld are fused to reduce the basis weight. 10-50g/■2. Above all, 20-35g/2 squares, density 0.03-0
.. It is preferable to use a material with a ratio of 5g/c3 to obtain a good texture and the required strength.

In addition, the periphery of the lower opening 13b is irregularly formed. Liquid conduit 1
3 has a fiber density lower in the peripheral wall than in the skin contact area 12, thereby imparting air permeability and liquid permeability to the liquid guide tube 13. By doing so, even if the liquid guide tube 13 is deformed or obstructed by body pressure, body fluid can be introduced from the upper surface to the lower surface, and its air permeability and liquid permeability are increased. For this purpose, it is preferable to increase the fiber gap in the peripheral wall of the liquid guide pipe 13.

The molten polymer is discharged from a melt blowing device, turned into ultrafine fibers by a high-speed, high-temperature air flow, and deposited on the upper surface of a conveyor having the same shape, size, and arrangement as the openings 13a to form a nonwoven fabric. At the same time, a suction placed on the lower surface of the conveyor applies negative pressure to a given region of the nonwoven fabric, and the portion of the nonwoven fabric located in the group of openings of the conveyor in the area to which this negative pressure is applied is sucked downward. In this way, the suction portion of the nonwoven fabric hangs down in a tubular shape having an opening on the upper surface, and the lower surface of this tubular portion is torn and opened, that is, the upper and lower openings 13a are obtained.

ある。As described above, by sucking the portion of the nonwoven fabric downward, the fiber density of the peripheral wall of the liquid conduit 13 thus formed can be made lower than that of the skin contact area 12. The peripheral wall of the liquid guiding pipe 13 with a low fiber density has excellent air permeability,
It also has liquid permeability. Depending on the suction force, the basis weight, density↓, and fineness of the nonwoven fabric, it is possible to form a state in the liquid guide pipe 13 in which the fiber gap of 8 on the peripheral wall of the liquid guide pipe 13 can be increased to 0 or more. This is effective in imparting air permeability to the top sheet 11 through the peripheral wall of the liquid conduit 13 when the nonwoven fabric maintains an integral fiber accumulation form, ie, becomes a film and does not have air permeability. Further, even if the fibers of the nonwoven fabric are oriented and fused at random, the suction force causes some of the fibers on the peripheral wall of the liquid guide tube 13 to be oriented in the suction direction, and as a result, in that direction on the peripheral wall. The capillary action becomes stronger. This is the liquid guide pipe 13
It is effective in promoting the introduction of body fluid from the upper surface to the lower surface of the body.
