Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a deodorant porous granular material absorbing and remov ing not only an offensive or foul odor emitted from a dust pot, dung, a refrigera tor, etc., but also sources emitting the odor. CONSTITUTION:The entire outside of a porous granular material such as Kanuma volcanic soil or red round soil is coated with an aq. mixture obtd. by mixing one or more kinds of coating materials selected among diatomaceous earth, Shirasu (volcanix glass) balloons, perlite, zeolite and carbon black with gypsm and/or cement as a hydratable binding material.

[Industrial Application Field] The present invention is an odor-proof porous material that improves the living environment by adsorbing and removing not only bad odors and foreign odors such as dust pots, animal excrement, toilets, car cabins, and refrigerators, but also their sources. The present invention provides high-quality granular materials.

[Prior Art] Conventionally, methods for preventing bad odors and foreign odors include dispersing various aromatics and disinfectants in ordinary liquid solvents or pressurized solvents, or dispersing them in gel-like solid solutions instead of liquid solvents. The main method used was to disperse these fragrances and disinfectants in a solvent that was present in the air, and to diffuse the fragrances and disinfectants into the surrounding area at the same time as the solvent evaporated.

[Problem to be solved by the invention] Conventional deodorants are solvent-dispersed types, but the solvent itself used as a carrier for fragrances and disinfectants does not have the function of adsorbing or absorbing bad odors and foreign odors, so it is necessary to eliminate the source of the odor itself. There are also restrictions on the application of disinfectants depending on the solvent used. Also,
It was also impossible to use aerobic bacteria, which are effective in decomposing and removing the source of the odor, and its function was to camouflage the environmental odor caused by air fresheners.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present inventors have conducted research to improve the above-mentioned drawbacks of conventional deodorants, and have used a solid porous material instead of a solvent. By rationally combining various types of aerobic bacteria that have the ability to aerobically decompose disinfectants, aromatics, repellents, and kitchen waste, it is possible to obtain odor-resistant porous granular materials with extremely high deodorizing effects. It was confirmed that

That is, a granular porous material such as Kanuma soil or Akadama soil is used as a core material, and a hydration bonding material such as gypsum or cement and diatomaceous earth, shirasu balloon, pearlite, zeolite, and carbon black are used as the core material. An aqueous mixture obtained by mixing the coating material and water was coated on the entire outer surface of the core material to obtain a deodorizing porous granule material having a two-layer structure. This odor-preventing porous granule material not only absorbs or adsorbs and removes foreign odors and malodors, but also exhibits a synergistic deodorizing effect by effectively adsorbing and removing the substances and organisms that are the source of the odor. By incorporating a bactericidal agent, a fragrance, a repellent, and an aerobic bacterial cell into this deodorizing porous granule material, its effects, especially the source removal effect, are significantly improved.

acid), etc. The fact that aerobic bacteria can now be used as a component of the deodorizing porous granule material of the present invention is a result of not using any organic solvent as the material in the present invention, and the effects brought about by this are as follows. It's large. For example, an odor-resistant porous granule material (see Example 3) containing the aerobic bacterium Bacillus subtilis [using BN Clean (registered trademark) manufactured by Meiji Engineers Co., Ltd.] was used to treat kitchen waste in a general composting machine. When used, it was found that kitchen waste was completely composted in about one month, and the bad odor generated during fermentation was significantly reduced.

[Effects of the Invention] As described above, the deodorizing porous granule material of the present invention uses a porous material as the core material, and these materials, along with the covering material such as diatomaceous earth, are materials with strong adsorption ability. It has a high odor control effect because it absorbs the odor (foul odor) generated and at the same time adsorbs and removes the source of the odor and odor. Furthermore, it has a good affinity with various fungicides and aerobic bacteria, which doubles its effectiveness.
