り付勢される鋼球を遊嵌し、取出口扉の回動によ
る開放限界近傍位置において、前記鋼球を固定金
具の凹部に移動して取出口扉の開放状態を保持す
ることを特徴とする。

う本体1に蝶着されている。 郵便物は、投函口扉2から郵便受箱へ投函さ
れ、また、取出しは暗誦番号によつて回転ダイア
ル錠の数字を合わせ、取出口扉を上方へ引上げ、
上方限界近傍、例えば110°くらいの位置まで引上
げ、そこで静止させて取出しを行う。 第4図および第5図に投函口扉2、取出口扉3

体1に取付け、蝶番を支点にして郵便受箱の外側
へ開くようになつており、また、閉じた場合は回
転ダイアル錠4のラツチホルダー19から突出す
るラツチ20がラツチ受け23に掛合して閉止状
態を保つようにしている。このラツチ20は、ダ
イアル13を、例えば右へ1回転以上廻したのち
任意の数字に合わせ、次に左へ1回転以内に巡つ
てくる任意の数字に合わせるとき、外リング14
に設けた爪15、および内リング16に設けた爪
17を引掛けながら内リングと外リングを回動さ
せ、両リングに刻んだラツチ溝18、第7図斜視
図において内リングに設けたラツチ溝は外リング
に覆われているため図示されていないが、両リン
グのラツチ溝がラツチを受け入れる位置に揃つて
止まり、ラツチが両リング内へ進入できる状態に
なる。すなわち、これが回転ダイアル錠4の解錠

球31が移動されて遊嵌される孔もしくは凹陥部
等の凹部29が形成され、回動金具28が取出口
扉3の開放に伴つて、第5図に示すように、開放
限界近傍位置、すなわち投函口扉2付近まで達す
ると、回動金具28に収められている鋼球31の
孔30と、固定金具27の凹部29とが合致し
て、該鋼球31はその一部が凹部29に移動して
遊嵌され、取出口扉3の外力を加えない限りその
状態、すなわち、取出口扉の開放状態を保つ。こ
の静止状態を解く場合は、手によつて外力を閉じ
る方向に加えると、鋼球は孔30内に拘束されな
がら凹陥部から円板バネに抗して脱出せしめられ
取出口扉の自重により重力落下する状態となる。
