この考案はシルク使用の洗い用タオルに関し、
さらに詳しくはシルク糸で筒状に編成した袋編部
内に綿類などを収納し刺縫いしてなる洗い用タオ

ン糸、あるいはナイロン、ポリエステルの混紡糸
を用いた混紡タオル、さらには合繊糸を用いた合

皮膚の垢や汚れを洗い落す洗い用の機能の点で劣
るものであつた。そして従来では拭き用タオルと
しての綿タオル及び洗い用タオルとしてのナイロ
ンまたはシルクタオルなどが一般に公知である。
従来のシルクタオルは肌を洗う場合における石鹸
の泡立ちが悪く、垢、汚れの落ちが充分でなく使

の横編機編みで１枚編成で構成され、筒状に編成
せる袋編部内に綿類などを収納してキルテイング

編で筒状に編成した袋編部であつて、該袋編部２

納してキルテイング（刺縫い、編組織）４を施す
ものである。そして上記構成の袋編部２の左右両
側にはそれぞれ一連の編成による細幅編地部１を
設けてなるものである。
