Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce a noise by a method wherein in an impact printer of a horizontal paper insertion type, a reflecting board for reflecting a sound is mounted on an impact head on the printing paper insertion side and noise absorbing materials are provided inside the printer. CONSTITUTION:A reflecting board 1 is mounted on an impact dot head 3 for reflecting a sound generated in an impact dot head body. Thereafter, the reflected sound is to be absorbed.
