[Technical Field] The present invention relates to a polyester fiber paper having excellent dry transfer coloring properties against cationic dyes. [Background technology] Dry transfer printing technology for film and paper using sublimation dyes is seen as promising in terms of reproducibility and simplicity, and is being used as a new technology to replace conventional pigment transfer printing and wet conversion printing technologies. Attention has been paid. On the other hand, the current dry transfer printing technology is mainly a dry transfer coloring method using sublimable disperse dyes, but there are problems with dry transfer properties, lack of color fastness and clarity due to disperse dyes, and improvements are needed. It is strongly requested. The present inventors have completed the present invention as a result of intensive research in order to improve the problems of dry transfer coloring technology using such sublimable disperse dyes. [Object of the Invention] An object of the present invention is to provide a polyester fiber paper having excellent dry transfer coloring properties with respect to cationic dyes. [Structure of the invention] The present invention is characterized in that the amount of acidic groups in the surface layer of the fiber is 50 to 50.
A sheet-like material made of cationic dye-dyeable polyester short fibers of 500 mmol/Kg fiber,
The gist of this invention is a polyester fiber paper for cationic dye dry transfer coloring, characterized in that the acidic groups of the fibers have been converted to ammonium salt types. The major feature of the polyester fiber paper for cationic dye dry transfer coloring of the present invention is that 50 to 500 mmol/Kg of ammonium salt type acidic groups are present on the fiber surface layer, and it exhibits excellent dry transfer coloring properties with cationic dyes. . The polyester fiber paper for cationic dye dry transfer coloring of the present invention has a large amount of acidic groups present in the surface layer of the cationic dyeable polyester fiber, which is made by copolymerizing an acidic group-containing substance with a core polymer mainly composed of polyethylene terephthalate. Moreover, the acidic group has been converted into an ammonium salt type. In this case, there are 50 to 50 acidic groups on the fiber surface layer.
It is necessary that 500 mmol/Kg fiber be present. If the amount of acidic groups in the surface layer of the fiber is less than 50 mmol/Kg of fiber, it is undesirable because it tends to be difficult to obtain sufficient dry transfer color development with the cationic dye.
Furthermore, if the amount of acidic groups exceeds 500 mmol/Kg of fiber, the heat resistance of the fiber decreases, which is not preferable. A method for producing a cationic dyeable polyester fiber containing a large amount of acidic groups on the surface layer of the polyester fiber is a conventional method using a copolyester consisting of polyethylene terephthalate and a sulfonate group-containing monomer such as sodium 5-sulfonate isophthalate. Fibers can be produced by melt spinning. In this case, as the amount of copolymerized sodium 5-sulfonate isophthalate as the acidic group-introducing component increases, the amount of acidic groups in the fiber surface layer can be increased proportionally, improving the dyeability of cationic dyes. be able to. However, the acidic groups in this polyester fiber are of the sodium salt type, and as it is, they do not exhibit the dry transfer coloring properties of cationic dyes. The acidic groups on the fiber surface are converted to ammonium salt types, and the cationic dye dry transfer coloring properties are improved. It is necessary to grant. A method for converting the acidic groups on the surface layer of polyester fibers into ammonium salt type can be achieved by immersing the fibers in an aqueous solution containing an ammonium salt of an inorganic acid and heat-treating the fibers. In this case, the ammonium salt of the inorganic acid to be used may be any ammonium salt of an inorganic acid as long as it can convert the acidic group on the surface layer of the polyester fiber into an ammonium salt type, but industrially, ammonium sulfate, ammonium chloride , ammonium sulfamate, etc. are preferably used. In addition, the concentration of ammonium salt of inorganic acid used is equivalent to or higher than the amount of acidic groups in the fiber, the treatment temperature is 80℃ to 140℃, and the treatment time is several minutes to
The purpose can be achieved by processing for several tens of minutes. 50 to 50% in the surface layer of the fiber obtained by the above method
The polyester fiber paper containing ammonium salt type acidic groups of 500 mmol/Kg fiber has excellent cationic dye dry transfer coloring properties and heat resistance.
It exhibits excellent transfer color development through dry transfer of cationic dyes at 140℃ to 200℃ for several seconds to several tens of seconds, making it possible to reduce the heating temperature and shorten the color development time during dry transfer color development. It is also extremely useful as a dry transfer coloring paper for recording information. [Example] The present invention will be explained below with reference to Examples. The measurement of the amount of acidic groups in the surface layer of the fibers, the dry transfer printing using cationic dye transfer paper, and the measurement of color development as described in the text were carried out in the following manner. (1) Measurement of the amount of acidic groups in the fiber surface layer Basic dye Methyl Vilet (molecular weight 358) 1
g/, acetic acid 0.2g/, sodium acetate 0.1g/
The test fibers were immersed in an aqueous solution at 98℃ containing , dyed for 30 minutes with stirring, and the optical density of the dye solution before and after dyeing was measured using a phototube colorimeter (manufactured by Hitachi, Ltd.). , calculate the amount of dye dyed per unit fiber weight (mmol/Kg fiber) and use it as the amount of acidic groups in the fiber surface layer. (2) Cationic dye dry transfer printing Using a Husing Press XVOB6.5/14 (manufactured by Carnegizer), apply cationic dye transfer paper (manufactured by Dai Nippon Printing, blue color) onto the sample paper.
, pressure 2Kg/cm 2 G, temperature 180℃, time 5
Dry transfer printing is performed under conditions of seconds. (3) Measurement of color development Color Analyzer Model 307 (manufactured by Hitachi, Ltd.)
After measuring the Y value using , the K/S value is calculated by substituting the Y value into Kubelkamunk's equation and is shown as color development. K/S=(1-R) 2 /2R where R=Y value/100 Example 1 Polyester pellets made by copolymerizing polyethylene terephthalate with 3 mol% of sodium 5-sulfonate isophthalate were prepared using a melt spinning machine using a conventional method. After spinning and stretching, heat treatment is performed using
I made a denier toe. Subsequently, the paper was cut into pieces of 4 m/m, and a cationic dye-dyeable polyester fiber paper with a basis weight of 60 g/m 2 was obtained using a papermaking method. This paper was subjected to a wet heat treatment for 30 minutes in an aqueous solution at 98°C containing 10 g of ammonium sulfate to convert the acidic groups on the surface layer of the fibers into ammonium salt type, thereby obtaining a polyester fiber paper for cationic dye dry transfer coloring. The amount of acidic groups in the fiber surface layer of this cationic dye dry transfer coloring polyester fiber paper and the cationic dye dyeable polyester fiber paper containing sodium salt-type acidic groups as a comparison sample and the dry transfer coloring property with cationic dyes. was measured and obtained the following results.
