``Prior Art'' Conventionally, roofing materials made of metal have a roofing material body with a predetermined width dimension, which is formed by bending a plate material such that the upper end is upward and the lower end is downward, and the upper end of the roofing material body is bent. An engagement recess formed by bending the tip of the roofing material body and an engagement recess of another roofing material formed by bending the tip of the lower side bent portion of the roofing material main body. It consisted of an engaging protrusion that engaged in a contact state.

Next, with another roofing material 1 engaged with the lower side engaging member 9 of the roofing material 1 and the upper side engaging member 7 of the installed roofing material 1, the anchor member 17 is attached as described above. Installation of the second row is started by fixing it in an engaged state. At this time, the side end portions of the roofing material 1 are installed so as to be located approximately at the center of the lower roofing material 1 being installed. In this case, it is sufficient to use a half-length roofing material for the end portion. Furthermore, even when the installed roofing material 1 is placed on the roofing material body 4, since the roofing material body 4 is supported by the support leg members 5, it will not bend.

The main difference between the embodiments shown in FIGS. 11 and 12 from the embodiment of the present invention is that the supporting leg members 5 are placed in two positions that divide the width of the roof material body 4 into three equal parts.
By providing the roof material 1A with two supporting leg members 5, it is possible to more reliably prevent bending even when placed on the roof material main body 4.

In the embodiments of FIGS. 13 to 15,
The main difference from the embodiment of the present invention is that the interposition material 1
8A is inserted into the insertion hole 20 of the anchor member 17 provided in the base portion 28a of the L-shaped interposition material main body 28 and the anchor member 17 is fixed with a nut 29. The threaded rod 30 that can be
This arrangement is advantageous in that the setting position can be determined when the roofing material 1 is set using the holes 31 for fixing the interposition material main body 28 provided in the roof body 3 to the roof main body 3 with nails 19. By configuring the covering material 18A, the intervening material 18A is first attached to the roof main body 3 at predetermined intervals, and then the roofing material 1 is attached to the upper side end member 6 of the roofing material 1 and the locking member 10. The roofing material 1 can be inserted into the locking portion 28b on the vertical side of the interposition material main body 28 between the roofing material 1 and the roofing material 1, and the set roofing material 1 can be held and locked by the anchor member 17, making installation easier and more efficient. I can work.

(1) Even if a person stands on a plate-shaped roofing material body extruded to a predetermined width dimension and the roofing material body integrally molded so as to protrude downward from the inner surface of this roofing material body, a support leg member that can be supported without bending; an upper side end member that is integrally formed at the upper end of the roofing material body and projects upward; and this upper side end portion. an upper engaging member integrally formed on the outer surface of the member so as to have a gap between the upper and lower ends to prevent rainwater from entering the inside; A lower end member that protrudes downward to cover the upper engaging member of another roofing material that is integrally molded with the roofing material main body, and another roof that is integrally molded on the inner surface of this lower end member. a T-shaped lower engaging member that comes into contact with the upper engaging member of the material so as to prevent rainwater from penetrating inside; and the roofing material main body that is integrally molded with the upper end member. and an inverted L-shaped locking member that can be locked to the roof main body of a building, so the lower side engaging part of another roofing material can be engaged with the upper side engaging member in a surface contact state. As a result, a plurality of empty chambers can be formed in the portion, and rainwater can be prevented from entering the interior due to capillary action. Therefore, rain can be reliably prevented.
